Zion- we get we are being a$$holes. K thx we know. Right now I could care less if this board is a flame-pot. What Tiggs did was totally unacceptable and just shows the lack of effort there is towards listening to us. AS is becoming dumbed down so that a freaking goldfish can craft armor.

Stop trying to lord over us. Take your friggn "righteous" crap elsewhere. Frankly, I think customer relations needs to know how we feel.

You've always done stuff like this, and have always been the zitt on the back of AS forums back, just annoying the hell out of it.

More like the conscious of the AS forums that it keeps trying to surpress, but hey, I see the glass half full, you see it half empty.

At this point, I would just be happy if we were looking at the same glass...

Friends:

If you're going to post in this thread, I ask this: Remain calm, don't flame, and most of all, support your community. This is OUR community. We make it what it is.

You are wrong...this is SOE's community...we are only allowed to dwell here as it suits them...and the best part is that we pay for it....

everything else in other threads put aside, this is my view. please pardon the spelling and grammer errors too.

Any player that gets into this profession and sticks with it does so for a reason, some for credits, some for glory, and yet still more do it because they love it. I am one of those who actually loves the profession and have been an AS for over a year. I am not the best, never have been the best and never want to be the best. I do it becauseI enjoy it even it if it one of the most frustrating professions in this game.

Before what happened today I was not happy with the direction our roll in the CU was going and I decided I wanted to help any way I could. I figured the first thing we needed was a list of the schematics available at master so I busted my ass getting to master in the CU. The information provided helped figure out some things and even helped fix a few but the underlying problem was still there.

Our ability to do what we love to do was being taken away.

I personally am not concerned with combat in game unless it's something I NEED to be involved in however I did do some combat grinding to see if I could help there as well but to me personally it's not my thing. What I am concerned about it the longevity of the single crafting profession I enjoy which is being torn to shreds. I tried to offer input and continually the same input from many other as well was ignored other then the OQ/SR issue.

Todays events only reinforced many of our concerns that there is a fundimental problem within the player/developer mixture. Perhaps what Okram did was wrong, I wont deny that BUT it does go to show that the concerns were not being heard or acted upon. We were not asking to be able to make godly armor which was still able to resist 90% of everything thrown at it we simply wanted the ability to have our craft give meaning. combined with the state of "level based combat" there was simply no use for us and I too would have put my neck on the line for the greater good.

Why even try being good or great at what you do if it has no meaning what so ever?

Just an a word of advice from an outside observer:

If all the rioting and revalotion and revoltcontinues in these forums, the DEVs are going to most likelyrealy start ignoring the ArmorSmithsfor the time being and fix the other professions first while they wait for people to settle down.

Currently there is no way to pull anything constructive out of the flame wars and ranting. How can you expect them to listen if your forums are unintelligible.

If clam and collective doesn't work, loud and obnoxious cerntanly won't.

And that is a change from what caused this whole mess? No its the same thing we've been getting and will continue to get until the other professions see how fubar we are. But then again, since dmg is scaled by level its not like combat profs will need us anymore.

Please. Enough already.

We ARE the butt of the jokes right now, because the community is throwing a 3-year old temper tantrum. The only people who seem to be rallying behind the AS's are those who want the old system, so they can continue to abuse it.

Read again, and rethink your words.

Let me rephrase "your" sentence:

"The only people who seem to be rallying behind the AS's are those who are mostly involved in PvE"

(fellow artisans,scouts, rangers)

Cause this CU is all about COMBAT, but pinpointed at PVP, way too much IMHO.
