Thanks for gouging us on the prices Armorsmiths!!! Barely anyone can afford your armor, so that leaves less customers for you, which means you raise your prices to compensate. All you're doing is creating a catch 22, you're the cause.

You guys are amazing claiming it takes millions to make a full suit, when it's really that you're giving us a 400% markup for profit.

Way to keep up the trashing of the economies, and whining about it at the same time.

This is not really relevant to the thread at hand. If you have an issue with the way something is done, state the facts out. off topic saying we are charging to much accomplishes nothing.

Stating that galaxy wide screwing of thecustomers on pricing is "Information on CURB Armor for Customers"

Also, stating prices in the original post is negligent and only hurts people because 1. the economy is different in each galaxy and armorsmiths seeing the price here won't neccesarily take that into consideration. 2. It borders racketeering.

If you can't figure it out, ignore my posts as they may be a reading level too high for you.

It would seem that the only one with a reading comprehension problem here is velocity-x.

The original posts were intended forBloodfin, and I specifically noted that both at the beginning of the post and the beginning of the armor pricing section, along with a caveat that everything price-wise is subject to supply, demand, and the vagaries of each server's economy.

Now run along and flame somewhere else.

A mathematical simplification... sort of:

The resists of 1000 = 10.5%, 2000 = 9.5%, etc... marginally increase by an amount of (11-n+0.5)% with n = armor/1000.

When you sum these, you get 10+9+...+(11-n) + n*0.5. (again, with n=armor/1000)

This is like a descending counting number summation with another added factor.

Anyways, it reduces to the armor's resist being...

resist = n(22-n)/2 **with n=armor/1000

solving for n gives...

n = 11-squareroot[121 - (2*resist)]

This way it is in "k" of armor and somewhat easier to calculate with a calculator or by hand even.

so:

1000 -> n=1 and 1*(22-1)/2 = 21/2 = 10.5%

10000 -> n=10 and 10*(22-10)/2 = 120/2 = 60%

2200 -> n=2.2 and 2.2*(22-2.2)/2 = 21.78%

Or from the other direction, say I was a resist of 24.13%, the armor value I need is:

n = 11-sqrt[121-2*24.13] = 11-8.52877 = 2.4712 or an armor of 1000*n for 2471.

Intentions aside, you posted this in a forum for all galaxies, not Bloodfin thereby accepting that what you post may influence the economy inmore than your own galaxy.
