Agreed that any kind of "uber" BH armor cert should come with the master box, but there should also be a cert with novice, like the DX2 pistol, Elite carb, Scatter, and T-21. But armor certs in general would be about the best "new" feature they could implement right now to help balance the professions.

For the record my armor is a blue composite helm, green composite chest, red composite bracers and white composite gloves over a blue/gray soft under**edit** with orange shoulders and blue/gray solid paramilitary camos and light gray shoes. Kind of a psuedo-Boba look and protects the major areas without a lot of encumbrance to my action pool (helps when spamming the shoot out of torso shot ). With that getup I can waste pretty much all my marks without taking much of a beating, with no pet and no buffs, food, or dope. I don't do a lot of PvP so it works just fine for me.

As for that "Bounty Hunter" armor pictured... eek. If I woke up one morning and had the cert for that I'd probably become a master dancer.

I've finally found a smith on Bloodfin that makes the RIS so I'll probably be looking into that soon. Curious what kind of look I can piece together with different RIS and composite/ ubese components. From the artwork I've seen of the RIS, the helm looks kind of funky and I'm not a huge fan of the chitin-style pants with the skirt. My ass doesn't need that much protection Knowing the Bloodfin economy the price is probably well up there too.

But good to know I'm not the only one who thinks there should be armor certs and that the BH line should be rearranged similarly to CH. When CH was rearranged so I couldn't call my grand wrix with 2 boxes I was pretty upset for a few hours, then realized if I really tried I could fight without it. Pets kind of make you lazy.

If anything should be done to BH though, I think the master box should include cl 15 or 20 and med use +5, and should use up all 250 skill points. Master BH by all rights should be a super elite profession just below Jedi, but I also think it should be an even bigger sacrifice than it already is. Maybe include the above skills and throw in unarmed 4 from brawler to eat up the remaining skill points. One thing for sure is if it required Master Scout/ Master Marksman/ Unarmed 4, there would be a lot fewer dabblers, and I don't think the real "professional" Bounty Hunters who truly play the role would mind.

That bh armor isn't in the game yet tho...its just some guy who modded his SWG files so taht all of one type of armor(for example, bone armor)looks like bh armor...

yes but how does he know that's BH armor?? like where does it say that's the offical stuff - or was it seen on a trainer? Not trying to be complicated that's a genuine question.

That armor looks pretty bad I think. I do like the look of composite the best so far. i have a matching set or did before the color palatte patch issue. But i would love to have a set that resembles the real SW bounty hunters

armor certs. would be kool.

its in your SWG files. it is the "proposed" BH armor. but if they put that into the game, i dont care if it had 100% resist to everything, there is no way i would wear that.

WOW that armor is ugly. And I have to say no to the armor certs It would just make us look even more like clones of each other. Remember the ESB scene With Bossk,IG-88,Boba Fett, Zucus 4-LOOM and dengar the diversity thats what we need in SWG more armor coustomization and more coustom stuff in general.

Mandaloria armor is mandalorian armor, it's not a BH armor. It's not cause 1 person and his clone-son wore it that it's BH armoring. He only wore it cause it was lightsaber-resistant(excluding the soft spots). These armors were rare anyway, so handing them to every BH that gets to master is like giving a jedi to everyone, it make no sense movie/book-wise.

People need to stop asking for that armor.

Other than that, i agree with your post, except the higher Armor rating part,light is fine, no player should ever get medium+, that'd wreck balance. Talk about shooting at someone for an hour to kill him.

well, whos job is it to kill the jedi? besides imps? BH. when you dont want to die, and have the cash, you send a BH.

and guess what. everyone IS trying to get jedi. so now what einstein?
