I reckon there should be a Teras Kasi Robe, that only the TK can wear. I don't know anything about jedi robes but I think that you should be able to craft the TK robes if you have novice, and you could like, change their color or something..... and they'd have to have sockets.
yeah.
yeah.

Chelandria: you know you can be dropped with a few shot without armor....

Wanted to add: imo Tantel comes close to what TK armor should be, low stats/encumbrance, but no weaknesses

As a TKM, I wear an orange skirt/shirt that looks alot like the robes worn by Buddhist monks. It's sleeveless, and I wear a necklace as well. I have two metal bands looted form nightsisters around my wrists, and a pair of Ubese gloves because they look cool. Sometimes I wear a White headwrap. I also have a pair of black sandals. All in all, it looks very TKA, and not like armor.
Of course, to fight any high level content, I have a set of Ubese armor that I wear with 70% or so kinetic resists... of course its practically useless now that NPC's use all kinds of damage types now, so I think I may have to break down and buy composite.
I hate composite armor, looking like a cylon... so conformative. I like my clothes better.
I would love for armor to be nerfed, along with buffs, then we can tone down NPCs and our toughness will work better. Too bad it doesnt work vs ranged though, I get incapped often from pistol wielding NPCs...

They should just make a melee suit for each melee class that only a master of that class can wear and have it add toughness with no encumburance. Each professions melee suit should look unique. They also should be only craftable by master tailors because they dont get much cash as it is and it would really help them out as well as us. Although toughness dousnt help against ranged opponents it helps a lot against other melee and npcs such as nightsisters. with 80 toughness you wouldnt need armor to protect yourself against a dragon or ns but you would for a range opponent. It would be very nice to see people in something other than comp now days.
Also on a last note make some of the suit components craftable and lootable so that someone that hunts dangerous creatures can have the oppertunity to get a better suit than a new tkm.

Makes a lot of sense for tailors to have to craft the suits. but istead of parts being crafted and looted if they were just crafted by a master of a proffession then it the components could be looted and then made for the tailor by the melee proffession. like it could a certain sigil or something of that nature that the melee proffession made for the tailor to use in the construction

Technically, they could just adjust the loot table so that we get skill tapes again, then we could make our own custom suits.

i like the idea, but not just for TKA, each proffection should have there own amor, swordnem swinging around these huge hammers, should get heavyer armor than the TKA or fencer

Armor for a TK is totally unneccesary for TKs.
I am a Master Brawler/TKM/Swordsman on my primary character...and I don't wear armor. I have no need, because not much in PvE can hit me...and when they do...they don't hit me hard, because of the mitigation, and toughness.
I'm very happy with this, because it saves me A LOT of money on armor.
Specific clothing for TKs would be nice, but defense bonuses shouldn't be neccessary. Maybe Def Vs KD/Dizzy..etc would be nice....but we can get regular clothes with BE Tissues for a lot of that, and attatchments for the sockets.
Even if TK armor was put in...I would stick with my outfit.
Black decorative vest with Blue accents
Blue shirt (same color as the vest accents)
Black pants and uniform boots
Only changes I would make would be some BE Combat versions of this outfit
You must fight some easy stuff. I dare you to go up to a protector armorless and say armor isnt needed. No one need armor for the light **edit** but nightsisters/dwb/corvette/spiderclan/anything that has a good amount of hp is way to tough to take on without armor. If you say pve stuff cant hit you, you must be fighting some easy stuff because high level mobs ignore all defences except toughness.
