I dunno about an armor, but a bio engineered fighting suit with bonuses to unarmed toughness and unarmed damage would be really cool

yes i agree , but then we'll have one more prob , even though they got 2 new armor , what about wookies , since i saw a wookie TKM in a new hunting armor using unarmedhit3 and i must say it looked like CRAP , never seen anything so awefull like that , i think using comp as a TKM is ugly , but that was to much for words
so souldnt it be better just using a robe of somekind (nothing like the jedi robe tho) so at least if you preform a move u look a little decent ?

But sadly without armor, we wouldnt have a chance against a krayt, or anything in the dwb, unless im missing something.

Yeah you have to get musician buffs just to maintain your mind through all the hitting in full composite.
I would like to wear something, like one of those orange suits Goku wears in Dragonball :-P

I'd love to see some sort of lighter armor for TK's. Not wearing armor just isn't viable, IMO. Things hit way too hard, even with full buffs. Of course, that's by design since the devs didn't actually forsee any class soloing 5 nightsisters at the same time, but I digress.
The only other thing that I can see as an alternative to armor is to increase the duration on Center of Being. As it stands right now, the duration is tiny and the message that you get when it ends is quite easy to miss altogether, resulting in getting drilled for tons of damage.
I personally have been thinking about trying to find a full suit of encumberance sliced Ubese to use for TK PvEing, anybody else tried that?

If we are going for a "Star Warsy" feel in SWG, TKAs wearing armor makes absolutely no sense. Give us some kind of martial arts uniforms--and for the love of god, no helmets. A hood, maybe, but no helmets. I would also propose that theseuniforms havenoresistances, but insteadofferincreased defense against bleeding, stun, blindness, poison, fire, dizzy, etc. Encumberance should either benon-existant or minimal.Perhaps allmelee classes should be given access to something like this--after all, there are many forms of martial arts which use some form ofarmed combat. TKAsshould berestricted to martial arts "armor", while other melee classes should be able to use this as well as existingarmor types.

all great ideas. this is exactly the stuff i was lookin for. the idea of clothing over armor would make more sense. it could be something like a Gi or Monk cowl. all great ideas.

Maybe something like traditional Karate, Kung-Fu, or Ju-Jitsu, uniforms we use today. Maybe make theme look like they wrap around a lot, or have big baggy legs or something. That way, black, white, orange, would all look really cool.

I would like clothes with bonuses to Unarmed Toughtness and states. Getting +20 UT from a full suit of clothes would be just like wearing light armor, and as Im not wearing armor now (unless I run into a real monster) any bonus would be nice.
Im wearing a dress now. Its black with a red band, And a china-hat (darn whats it called!!). I got them made to look like a martial-arts-dude, and I think it looks a hell lot better then wearing any armor.
So give us UT clothes!.
