No, I don't think so. If they came to the forums they would understand the direction that players actually would like the CU to progress.

Thanks for the info Tiggs, but would it hurt for us to hear anything about our issues?
The devs working on combat upgrade can either hit the forums and respond all day to your questions or work on CU. I am sure we are all in agreement with having them bang away at issues and bugs with CU rather then post all day.

Except plenty of us hate the CURB and I know you and TH don't tell the devs that some I'd rather have some communication from them.

We'd rather have a healthy mixture of both. Being kept in the dark does not help us.

Yup, we want them work on CU instead of "trolling" around. Speaking of this, what about patch notes? :>

I have one question and one suggestion.
Q: Do you get paid enough for all the grief that this has caused?
S: Paid correspondents may be a good public relations move.
Just my 2 cents.

wouldnt really hurt them to answer on 1 (one) single thread a day... and thats maybe 5-10 mins I could spare for having like 10/(60*8) more bugs in the release version of the CU
This is seriously... and I dont need the devs to post on the most important always... just on one random on... take the 10 devs you have or what and we have 10 replies a day... wow!!
Well... lets hope they have Internet at their office...

Yup there has not been enough feed back between us and the devs hence the state of our profession and as our last corespondent said it is in a very bad way.

Tiggs, considering the point of silence we had/have reached on our concerns, and Oa'kron's inability to make any headway it seemed, don't you think the response tohis actions was out of proportion to the annoyance it caused Blivtex???
We play this game to have fun, not to support SOE, at the same time we have vested much of ourselves into this game/profession. The changes followed by the lack of response to our concerns was certain to upset many people. Oa'kron did his best, and as a correspondant did all he could to make sure we and a community were being heard. I sincerely hope you reconsider the firing and have Blivtex or some other dev look at our issues thread.

How long does it take for a dev to write a single message to let us know what is going on? 5 minutes? 10 minutes? Are you telling me the devs would rather just ignore the growing dissention and lack of faith that is quickly spreading through the playerbase?

The post that was removed earlier was removed in error. The moderators received numerous reports on the thread and removed it after reviewing those posts. We are not trying to silence you or I wouldn't have posted at all. I was trying to explain why things happen and will do so again with more detail this time.
Correspondents have rules just as you do on our forums and these need to be upheld. When a correspondent goes against the rules they will be removed just as any of you would be. A correspondent's position is to bring to the Dev team the issues their profession is currently having or foresee. It isnot to rally up the troops and spam in private message tells tothe devs, just to be heard. The correspondents have direct access to our email addresses and to the correspondent forum. Unfortunately there are times when TH and I get very busy and we need to concentrate on the other duties we have. During these timesthe correspondents may nothear anything from us. We do however let them know we are still reading their posts or emails even if we aren't replying and their concerns are being brought to the table.
All of this is outlined in the correspondent forum, the application for being a correspondent and the welcome letter they receive.
Please keep it constructive, any posts that are not constructive will be removed.
2 Years of being ignored and abused and you ask us to trust you? While I do not doubt what you say Tiggs I do doubt the business engine that runs behind what you do. Its very clear from the exit polls and the posts on the forums that the player base is not happy with the CU, but yet we have the Head guys saying all is well and everything is ok.
If you want us to listen to you then you need to listen to us its a two way street, something that seems to have been long forgotten by your upper management. You however do tend to listen more so than most which is appreciated but and I cant stress this enough when the community posts and makes it feeling very clear on a matter to have your upper management dismiss this as a minority is just ignorant.
I love SWG but I can no longer be a part of it for me Star Wars Galaxies has been destroyed by poor programming, bad choices and lack of vision, after over a year in the making the CU is nothing more the EQ2 in a SWG wrapper, not what I wanted or paid my $250 for the boxes or $75 per month for my accounts.
