Sigh, I'll be reading "1984". I hope everyone gets calmed down!

We are not trying to silence you or I wouldn't have posted at all. I was trying to explain why things happen and will do so again with more detail this time.Correspondents have rules just as you do on our forums and these need to be upheld. When a correspondent goes against the rules they will be removed just as any of you would be. A correspondent's position is to bring to the Dev team the issues their profession is currently having or foresee. It is not to rally up the troops and spam in private message tells to the devs, just to be heard. The correspondents have direct access to our email addresses and to the correspondent forum. Unfortunately there are times when TH and I get very busy and we need to concentrate on the other duties we have. During these times the correspondents may not hear anything from us. We do however let them know we are still reading their posts or emails even if we aren't replying and their concerns are being brought to the table. All of this is outlined in the correspondent forum, the application for being a correspondent and the welcome letter they receive. Please keep it constructive, any posts that are not constructive will be removed.
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, as for the Combat Upgrade i understand its still on Test Center so once again i extend a great THANK YOU for all your hard work in trying to keep SWG alive!
Thanks!

Thanks for the info Tiggs, but would it hurt for us to hear anything about our issues?
The devs working on combat upgrade can either hit the forums and respond all day to your questions or work on CU. I am sure we are all in agreement with having them bang away at issues and bugs with CU rather then post all day.

It seemed that there were going to be very positive steps forward when Callandryl was brought in, but he lasted a scance few weeks. Tyrant's departure (under shady circumstances) has only made things worse. The fact of the matter is that for every two steps forward the current SWG Development team makes in communicating with its customers (who actually know the game better and have a much more comprehensive vision of what the game should be), they seemingly take five steps back.
We're three weeks away from the putative release of the CURB and RotW. Curiously, this is also very close to Episode III's release ... odd how Lucas Arts handles that. The lack of developer-customer communication on the issues arising from the CURB, which will make or break this game, is appalling.
There are multiple, active members here on this forum that would likely serve well as a new correspondent. Blixtev has shown a willingness to adjust things based on the data and feedback we provide -- all hope is not necessarily lost.
SOE essentially has one chance to turn these lemons into lemonade. The clock is ticking.

Our correspondent has brought major issuesto the dev teamabout our profession. These issues have not even been acknowleged by anyone in the dev team. In fact out of the 100 or so questions in the dev chat on stratics not one of these issues were addressed.
Our correspondent may be a volunteer employee but he felt that he had a duty to the playing community. I would like to say thatwe armorsmiths are some of the most respected and intellegent players in the community. It is very unfortunate that we had to resort to "spam private messages to the devs." But push us on our backs enough and we felt we had to do what had to be done to save our profession.
