Being a new player only 2 months in i can't comment on a lot of these problems. To be honest I am beginning to wonder if I've not made a terrible mistake in buying the game.
Can someone tell me, are all these bugs confirmed and has Sony just NOT responded to any queries about these bugs ?
Do they just ignore queries ? not having to request help so far I am a little niave of the whole process.
Can nothing be done to demand they take notice of these, what seem to be , glaring mistakes.
Yes, all of these bugs are more than confirmed. SOE pretty much does not respond to queries about them.
At this point, our queries are ingnored.
It seems nothing can be done to get them to take notice and yes, they are glaring mistakes as you putit.
I hate to say this, but unless you bought the game for the sole purpose of becoming a Jedior Bounty Hunter, you have made a terrible mistake.
The only reason I have not quit is because D&D online is not out yet.

Fixed. I agree that the game in it's current state isn't worth recommending to anyone, but I don't agree with how you say it

That is a completely ridicoulous statement. If this was going to be a game of comboys and robbers with jedi and BH we wouldn't have all the other professions.
You simply didn't choose to buy the game at the most opertune moment, as many professions are currently in a rut. I would wait a month or two and see what happens (No I did not tell him to spend his money for that amount of time.)
I respect your opinion, however, I stand by this statement. I have looked through all of the crafting/support profession forums and there is one common theme, a large number of crafters HAVE quit crafting and either taken on pure combat roles or have quit the game completely.
Many of them echo my statement regarding the Jedi/BH issue.
In addition, lets make one thing crystal clear, I love this game, I have been here since day 1. My opinion isbased upon watching this game devolve from the very beginning. I have recommeded SWG to several of my friends in the past. What I am saying is that with the current state of the game, I can no longer recommend it.
Theforums with the highest level of discontentare CH, BE, Tailor, Musician, Dancer, Doctor, check them out if you feel inclined.
I hope that the bugs get fixed and I have to publicly appologize to you (keeper32)here in the forums
. Nothing will make me happier than to say, "yes, I was a paranoid idiot for all to see", because it will mean that I can once again make armor.

I absolutly agree with this.... this is turning into a damn joke... is there goal to remove crafters from the game or what?...
They've absolutly ruined Test Center so basically nothing with crafters is ever going to get any play testing done at all... this is only going to get worse.... If anyone gets a chance... please take a look at my forum post and let me know if this is another case of SOE stupidity or my own... i really would say normally... 50/50... but given their records i'm going to give myself the benifit and presume it's another SOE screw up...

I can't say with any certainty what the devs plans are, but their actions so far sure support the conspiracy theories.
What I can say for sure is that most (or all) of the people who designed this game are no longer working for SWG. Those are the guys who designed the range of professions in the game. The guys who took their place may or may not be committed to the non-Jedi/BH professions.

he said that he would stop crafting til it was fixed, not that he was quitting. Also for all our sakes I hope you're right and it'll be fixed soon. Bah who am I kidding lol the jedi got hit too with lightsaber crafting so of course it'll be fixed by weekend lolSad but true I'm sure

Lol... I love that btw... that's so true
Well, it didnt get fixed that quick, but close. Notice that the exact same problem for armorsmith's was NOT fixed, but then again Armorsmiths don't make lightsabers.
Go figure.

I hope everything turns out alright. I've been in Iraq way too long and i can't play here, but i feel your pain. I've been an armorsmith since the beginning and gone through many bugs and lost factories over bugs in this game. It's very annoying. Wish i was home to be going through the same stuff..heh believe it or not.

I received a PM back from Tiggs when I asked about this and she told me they planned on dealing the Experimenation bug "in the next few publishes".
Well, I am gonna sell off my last few items on my vendor, I am not gonna craft anything else I guess - despite loving crafting in this game - and then reconsider why I would want to spend money on this buggy POS game. In all conscience I don't want to craft items when I can't be sure of the experimentation, and I don't want to encourage people to think the game is okay the way it is. Better to let the economy crash completely and maybe they will wake up to how badly they ****ed up.
SOE has in effect just told all crafters to bend over and take it while we pay them.
I see no reason not to quit when my account is up, and I see no reason to encourage anyone else to stay, and a lot of reasons to tell people not to buy the game. Telling us they plan to fix it in the next few publishes - ie 6+ months or more possibly - is not a response.
i wrote the devs about this too, and got a pm back from Tiggs.
I asked about all the current ugs (factory, health and exp bug)
i got a reply back stating that they were aware of the experimentation bug. Whats with that??? like the older bugs arent important now??
yup, get used to it...
They don't care, blunder after blunder, and only focus is jedi & BH...
I just cancelled my last 2 accounts, they run out in 2 and 3 weeks. My armorsmith was cancelled just after CU hit.
It hurt, I put it off, but I can't keep wasting my time, money and life on something this messed up and never getting better. With every publish/hot fix things just get worse, and worse. Good luck all that stay.
Hope they fix this game at some point, or send it over to a company who can manage it better...
