Thread: Cant take it, no more crafting till we're fixed

Step 1) Create 30-50 suits of Factional/Standard recon/battle/assault for guildies
Step 2) Pull up all harvies and factories
Step 3) Stick a few mill into each house maintenance fund
Step 4) Cancel account(s) and watch the forums for bugfixes or dev resignations ( yeah right)
At least that's the steps i've followed since yesterday. It's actually quite nice not paying $30/month for a game I wasn't playing because of the tragic state it's in; and I actually feel less frustrated when I come here each day and see no progress whatsoever.

This is exactly what I am going to do. I dont want to play SWG like it is but I didnt have a plan to exit, this plan is the way for me. Full 90 part runs for 3 types, 20 of each faction type, 300 days in the harvies, and not pay next month. A few months in the sun will do me good. SWG just pisses me off. You cant do anything without having to deal with a bug of some kind. Except for candles I hear they work great.

They do NOT want to help us!!! They(DEVS,DEAFS) want us (crafters)OUT OF THEIR GAME!!! its not obvious? 1st the CU makes it impossible for a pure crafter to go and set harvs. yes, 1500 damage in one hit and to the cloners we go. Now we cant make product..You tailor's want a fix? dont hold your breath. In 2 years of playing this game as a crafter i have had ZERO response to any crafter related ticket i have sent in....ZERO! in 2 years! so hard to keep the language clean when dealing with SOE.

I agree 100%. They are intentionally NOT fixingcrafting bugs for the exact reason you stated.
Does anyone really think that it is just a coincidence that all these crafting bugs appear without getting fixed at the same time as they offer us all of these RESPECopportunities.
THEY WANT US ALL TO GET FRUSTRATED ENOUGH THAT WE GIVE UP AND RESPEC INTO COMBAT PROFESSIONS.
Then, when there are very few crafters left, they can announce that due to "lack of interest incraftingprofessions" they are discontinuing them andcreating an NPC vendor system forbuying and trading.
I hope I am very, very wrong about this, but I do not think so. My signature should say it all, I am a Armorsmith/Tailor/Merchant and my other toon is a BE. My crafting and vendor business is dead at the moment.
Watch and see.
I WROTETHE ABOVEON JUNE 21ST, AND EVERYONE WAS CALLING ME A CONSPIRACY NUT,
HOW ABOUT NOW ??????
Their plan might be working. Did nothing but combat stuff yesterday, no crafting at all. And I like crafting too...... just not the dealing with the bugs

You're still a conspiracy nut... This time you may just be right about something
Just remember, just because your paranoid doesn't meant that everyone really isn't out to get you

Yeah, I know, but if I am pesomisticand then they DO fix it, then I will be extremely pleased
. On the other hand, if I keep saying to myself, "oh, they will get around to it one of these days, I am sure they will fix the bugs" and they DO NOT, I will be even more upset
.
So I choose to be negative and hope that I am very wrong
.
Please let me be wrong.![]()
It won't be my last.
My response to the potential customer was basically with all the crafting-related bugs I don't know what my results would be on his order.
So I too won't be crafting much until we see a few bug fixes.
1. Factory Bug concerning colors on clothes and armor.
2. Health Enhancements not working properly/consistently with armor segments.
3. BE Mods not working on clothes components.
4. Experimentation not working properly and consistently (like its' intended function).
5. Resource Stacks in inventory not consistently showing the proper stats.
Oddly enough the above five bugs/issues are important to me as well as a significant part of the player base.

Well, I am gonna sell off my last few items on my vendor, I am not gonna craft anything else I guess - despite loving crafting in this game - and then reconsider why I would want to spend money on this buggy POS game. In all conscience I don't want to craft items when I can't be sure of the experimentation, and I don't want to encourage people to think the game is okay the way it is. Better to let the economy crash completely and maybe they will wake up to how badly they ****ed up.
SOE has in effect just told all crafters to bend over and take it while we pay them.
I see no reason not to quit when my account is up, and I see no reason to encourage anyone else to stay, and a lot of reasons to tell people not to buy the game. Telling us they plan to fix it in the next few publishes - ie 6+ months or more possibly - is not a response.
Being a new player only 2 months in i can't comment on a lot of these problems. To be honest I am beginning to wonder if I've not made a terrible mistake in buying the game.
Can someone tell me, are all these bugs confirmed and has Sony just NOT responded to any queries about these bugs ?
