Lol... I love that btw... that's so true
Well, it didnt get fixed that quick, but close. Notice that the exact same problem for armorsmith's was NOT fixed, but then again Armorsmiths don't make lightsabers.
Go figure.
That problem did get fixed, and our profession got the fix as well. Obviously layers are a seperate issue. Otherwise we wouldn't have had it first and then everyone got it later.
And it's layers for crying out loud. Post-CU layers. You have one line to experiment on it. It's not like we need knife-sharp experimentation to optimize them.
Quit crying and be glad that they are fixing stuff now at all.
I have been civil up to this point, but now the gloves are off.
You must be one of those people who orders a steak a medium rare but you get it well done and you just say, "oh well, I will just eat it this way." Most of us who pay for goods and services expect to get out money's worth. If the manager of the restaurant came over and explained that his chef is "having trouble with getting steaks right", most people would say that is un-acceptable. The same standards should be expected of the people who manage our game.
Having said all this, I don't expect things to be fixed overnight, however, it has been WEEKS in most cases.

There is one big problem with your analogy. It's very flawed.
The manager isn't saying that the chef is having trouble. The manager apologised and offered the buffet, fish and vegetarian course instead.
So you aren't the top of the food chain. Big deal. The bug doesn't hurt you! Alot of other bugs that they ARE fixing a) Affected more people, b) Affected people detrimentally, c) Had serious implications on general gameplay of a chosen profession.
Explain to me how not being able to see if your layers are 80 or 81 would justify say taking someone off the "offline jedi" bug and having that moved a publish or two, just so you could have a perfect profession.

i don't have time for this, i play an hour a day 2 max. i have lots of orders - all different colours. my computer isn't fast enough to alt-tab to fix the experimentation bug all the time and materials have oddly dissapeared from factories. Vailau Armor & weaponson Bloodfin is suspended till further notice. this goes on for much longer with no fixes and more bugs and there is no point in me having this character - she crafts and thats it. my other account has the fighter, whats the point? roll on Elder Scrolls & STALKER i say.
I do agree that the game has alot of bugs right now. I've lost 16 NS armor layers with +20 health bonus each trying to make armor for myself and a friend, but other than that I am not having all that many problems making armor. Granted its a pain in the a** with them changing it all the time, but I do not have any major bugs crafting armor. Fixing armor is another story though... HAHA I tried to fix a chestplate and from 11k condition it went to negative 9k
