I was MBH / Mrifle, then I decided to switch to MBH / MCarbine.
Well, the problem with Carbine is that I do not get mitigationbonuses forany of thehigh-end 8000+ energy Composite armor.
Do I have any other options to wear good armor like this without changing my entire template (again..)? I REALLY want to wear it!

nope unless you master the appropriate class you will have encumberances.

This is the WEAPONsmith forum,
but I'll indulge you:
Recon: slightly better against energy
Assault: slightly better against kinetic
Battle: kind of balanced between the two
So the answer is in how you're gonna play.
PvP: Recon or Battle (with the right attachments)
PvE: Battle

Yes.. yes it was! You forgot to take into account Assault armor vs Kinetic based attacks. Which are out there. Layering for energy, layering for kinetic, layering for kinetic and energy. The exact percentages involved in resists. How common or uncommons uch and such a damage type is.....

Generally speaking we'd recommend much the same. Though I'd have to argue about energy resist armro being -allways- better over assault. But due to the massive number of jedi. You probably are better off with recon armor. As most sabers seem to do energy damage... and theres a rediculous number of jedi in PVP. And they will get close. And they will chop you up to tiny pieces with a lightsaber.
But it's unwise to forget about the riflemen with kinetic damage rifles.

You don't get the edit feature until you reach a certian post count or rank on the forums.
Ok i have all my armor AB Sliced now. but someone was telling me that if i wear regular gloves and not the armor gloves then the AB slice i had on the armor wont even work..is that True?
