Larget Pallets would be nice. Maybe a low % chance to surpass the quality of our resources.. ie. say you are using 900 oq resources, maybe like a 1 or 2% chance that they are "considered" a 950 oq resource for the duration of crafting that one item. This would give more of a critical item sort of thing. Like inspiration on how to better use the material.

Also, what about appearances that opened up when you were inspired? Or the ability to gain more exp. points? Also what about the ability to temporarily (during one crafting session) switch two stats on a resource? Like switch mal and ut or something. Dunno... many many ideas which could all be fun and useful, but not gamebreaking

Some advantages for hand crafting armor, using entertainer buff, will be great. Extra condition for hand made armor is a good idea, and that is we all want for R.I.S. and factional armor: 4 sockets on every peace. And ...may be we canhave even 5 sockets ?(only for hand crafted armor, using masterdancer buff, after superhard quest , etc.) I'dmove to the nearestcantina with my crafting droid, and stay there forether, really

The Devs are currently looking for ideas on Inspirations that will be useful, but not *absolutely* necessary.

So the question is, what are some benefits you can see as useful to you, but would not detract from you being a "whole AS" if you didn't have the Inspiration?

Better color palettes?
Statless, decorative armor?

Whatever your idea, we want to hear about it!

Thanks!

Here's the original thread if you wish to post there too.

1st issue is AS is all bugged right now, after that is fixed and enhancers are added then maybe something cool.

Plenty of colors atm imo. The more color you have the more work you create for smith's

Maybe make some kind of dye kit that an armosmith can use to dye armor pieces AFTER it has been factory run.

So we can run crates of armor and then choose color and people request.

Both ideas are really cool, I would like to see a buff that increase our chances of getting sockets...

But what I think would be coolest of all are Factory Inspiration buffs and vendor buffs... I need my factories to be inspired to make the correct colored armor, and Someone needs to inspire my vendors to show all the stats... all the time.

I'll need to think some more on this. Additional sockets is a nice idea. I wonder if the Devs would go for a slight reduction in resources required? Even if its only 5%. If you are inspired enough, you should be able to figure out new ways to build things. That's a buff I would always get.

Well, in my humble opinion, this is what I suggest.

I would like to see an inspiration buff that allows Armorsmiths to create schematics that will generate armor that the customer can re-color. If you don't have the buff then your schematic generates the fixed color armor. Get the buff and your schematic generates armor with a re-color option.

It would not be absolutely necessary. However, I can tell you that I would be visiting my local entertainers before every crafting session. It would be fantastic.

To find out what would be a good thing to add as inspiration buffs, we should look at the essence of the whole matter. What is inspiration? What could something inspire us to do with our profession?

You could be inspired to craft in new ways (Assembly/experiment bonuesses). A "minor" bonus of perhaps +5 or +10to improve the chances of amazings. That does not seem overpowered to me compared to the +15 and +20 of Research Centers and Bespin Port.

It could inspire to try new things in colouring. Adding more unique colours to armor. Perhaps custom "paintjobs" with selectable motifs. We already have an ungodly amount of colours in for instance marauder armor, so maybe it's time we had some more unique colourings.

You could be inspired to see things differently when it comes to repairing. See faults in a new way and fix them differently, giving you a bonus of +10 or +15 to armor repair. Of course, that would mean they'd actually have to fix repair and give us a mod for it like we're supposed to

You could be inspired to make things more efficiently when crafting, making items created by hand finish faster. Factories would be unaffected, since they don't really get inspired. They just make things.

Or that could be incorporated, so that the general complexity of an item was lower. Thus feeling like the efort it took to create the item was less than normal.

Maybe lowering the complexity or crafting time by 10-20%.

That's about all I can think of at the moment. None of them would be overly powerfull or imbalancing... I think. They are worthwhile buffs, but not needed to do your job.

Would like to see a few appearance options on some armor not just color template. SOme armor is Ugly especially the reb battle helmet.

If you decide to leave this game due to the lack of customer loyalty, continue to show them how big an impact it has made and stop purchasing any sony products. Over time they will realize that their customers should have been more important as they will lose millions.

Here are some Idea's

1) inspiration buff for crafting exp, more than the normal 10% exp, this one is special to crafting only...*** i did the math on how many advanced cores we would have to do to get the 4 trees in FS crafting, came out to around 44882... and that was during x2 EXP week... so im sure that doubled... so thats 89000 roughly, that take times 3, for each segment to go into the core... thats about 240000, so the amount of resources it would take is an extreme amount atm, as apposed to a week of grinding combat exp per tree (i just did the combat grind, so its pretty correct for a week to get 1 tree with semi-grind, i did do alot of other things also)***

2) inspiration buff for repairing armor, oranything. since the skill tapes for armor repair dont work.

3) The "statless decrotive" armor you suggested is a good idea, but would have to make it where it didnt require hardly any resources, kind of like the whole idea of the boots and gloves, where they dont use armor cores, just the tailor made items and a couple of random resources.

4) Color palletes are another subjust I want to touch on... being that not ALL the armor can have its color changed, maybe expand a little on each color pallete, for example, everyones that padded armor has the best color choices... why not give a inspiration that would you to use that pallete or even half of it on chitin or ubese.

5) lastly, maybe a buff that would allow us to change someones color of thier armor if SOE is not planning on giving us some "Armor Customization Kits". that would help greatly as alot of people like thier armor, but not the color all the time.

YEA how but customization kits we can make to sell WITH our amour then they can make it any color they want to. just like for speeders and bikes and stuff.

If we want to add an experimentation line and they want to still make the mal static how bout an armour break resistence line?
