Thread: Inspiring the Armorsmiths
I, like a lot of you really want the bugs fixed but... this is not so much for us as it is for the ents... they are in a works shape than us so... lets stop complaining about the bugs and give them a hand.
Ireally like the 5% redux in resource reqs, thats a pretty good idea.
More colors that be ok but really would not do a lot for us other than make more work, a kit needs to be put in regradless of buffs.
More amazing success would be great or perhaps raising the cap on experimentation, an extra 3-5% be nice.
Crafter defensive buff? dunno how effective it would be but its an idea...
Repair bonus.... that would require repairs to work in the first place tho ![]()
Some sort of Cred/Power reduction on harvesters and houses.

sorry bud. i would like for them to fix the dam bugs and give us more lines experiment b4 they add more fricken content. they dont need anymore distraction. I know u trying to do something for your profession, which is great, but i fricken frustrated.
FIX THE BUGS FIRST!!!
Every prof deserves attention... THIS THREAD IS NOT FOR US, its for the ents.
C'mon, guys, this is embarrassing. A profession that is in way worse shape than us is looking for our input. Let's put our own problems aside for a minute (they'll be there when we get back, I promise) and think.
1) An inspiration buff could decrease the complexity of a schematic by a small amount and thus speed up factories a bit.
2) As has been said, a significantly greater chance of an amazing success would be nice. That would at least help with PSG experimentation and bump the condition of the subcomponents a bit. I've never seen that an amazing success on assembly does anything and with assembly failures gone, buffing assembly seems pointless. However, amazing successes may overpower other crafters where experimentation means more (e.g. weaponsmiths).
3) An inspiration buff couldadd a small bonus (5-10%) to condition. This could help both AS and WS, but I don't know how it would translate for other crafters. Mass for shipwrights? Duration for chefs?
That's all that comes to mind at the moment.
So lets help the entertainers help us, give them constructive input and keep your "FIX MY BUG!" to the other threads.
Dont get me wrong I WANT THE BUGS FIXED! but i want to keep the game going while they work on it, and by contributing to the evolution of the entertainers we do so.
i would hope for some sort of inspiration that would actually be useful in crafting... amazing bonuses that could take us over the resource cap, now sign me up for that one.
as far as giving us a schematic to change the coloration of the end product, make it reasonable so it could be used to fill the whole left by AUKs (read:no crazy subcomponents)
If you make one to give us better exp results you will make them as usefull as the combat buffs were before the CU, that is it was all but impossible to hunt with out them... we wouldent want to craft with out them because the system would be tweaked in a way to make them usefull and that could be by making us "miss" more without them

i personally don't think we need anymore colors how many various shades of brown, grey, red and blue do we honestly need?

How about an Inspiration that grants a "mask scent", and the lower your combat level, the stronger it is..? Maybe at combat lvl 1, it's basically unbreakable by any creature lvl 80 or lower, and lasts for 3hrs.
thats actually not a bad idea, or maybe the rangers should be able to apply something pretty damn good camo to us so we can do our harv runs alone
Honestly, Ican't get excited about anything that an entertainer inspiration buff could theoretically do, nor do I particularly want to add yet another dependency on the profession with the most dependencies.
Reducing complexity? Sounds OK ... this is about the only one that would be interesting to me.
Assembly bonus? Yawn. Would need to be inferior to Pyollian Cake unless they wanted to shaft the chefs even more.
Experimentation bonus? Might be nice, but still a bit of a yawner. Would also need to be inferior to Bespin Port.
Additional colors? Meh. If they want to expand the palettes of some of the other armors, I'm all for it, but we shouldn't need to be "inspired" to make full use of our skills.
As others in the thread have said, if you make it too good, it will become a prerequisite for everyone, same as buffs pre-CU, and it certainly seems that the dev team wants to move away from that scenario.
