Hand-crafting as the standard model? No.
Hand-crafting as an option for the personal touch? Sure, why not.

This sounds more a question that needs to be asked towards consumers in the way you've asked it. If other smiths want to handcraft they should. I'm behind em 100%. Same goes for anyone who does factory runs or armor.
Your question really is vague. Expand please.

Its simple.. Talks are of changing Armor crafting to the way shipwrights is.. This means hand crafting only or exclusively.. How do you feel about that?

Just whispers in the night I guess.. Not sure if it holds any truth but I'd leave nothing to chance and so now before they get all minds set about such a thing I thought we might address it.

Yes, but I think it should be modified so there is some benefit to crafting by hand as opposed to factory. More options or extra experimental points. Of course this would mean the current armor crafting process would have to be redeveloped.

No. WAY too much time. Did it for a few months exclusively, and factories are a godsend. Impossible to keep a stocked vendor and have a life without factories.

I don't know where you're hearing that from. Armorsmithing will never be made into a fully hand crafted profession. Thats way to much work for any one individual to do. Besides, for that to even happen they would have to remove the 'From a Factory crate' requirement on a lot of armor components.

10 say No

Yes / No should count as No because really you still want to have the ability.

I think the talk is for final combines only - componants would still run through the factory.... Still if this happens - it will be the day I double the cost of my armor.

I see my one star bandit found me again
Don't assume either, just look at the dev posts and our coorespondant posts. If you remember that Jaato said he liked the changes and he thinks that everyone will like them (what I learned in Texas post) what do you think the tone would be if we had these changes?
