NO,

but I WOULD like the devs to do away with the identical segment requirement for the advanced armors... I would make alot more hand crafted stuff if I didnt have to freakin wait for the factory to churn out my enhancer segments.... and waste loot in the process.

Absolutely NO!

unlike other spoiled people i work for a living and have a wife and 2 kids. All this would do is occupy more time. And if it ever comes to that i'm out of here. If anything, the devs should speed things up. For example' a faster way to do factory runs. By this, I mean i should be able to program a factory for how many items i want to make then just double click my resources in my pack and it should just transfer the right amount of resources to the factory. If anyone else feels that this is a legitimate change plz post.

NO

Hopefully they'll never do this because it would have a negative effect on Architects. I can't imagine what I would do if I couldn't have factory runs. Especially if I had to craft the components by hand. I would quit all crafting if I had to make everything by hand. Even if it was just the final piece of armor, I'd still have to think hard about continuing to be an Armorsmith. The critical failure rates on expirementation are too high and it takes too long to hand craft enough armor to meet the public's needs. Like somebody above said, customers main concern is convenience. I hope they're not even considering this. Why do they keep trying to make things harder than they were previously? If they thought the economy was going to get out of hand they should have launched the game differently. If they had tested things properly, they could have planned for what would happen.

NO

I like to craft by hand occasionally, but all my vendors are stocked with factory stuff.

Its REALLY hard to move 50 suits of composite from Naboo to Dant if they are not in factory crates!

The way I see it.. We are in the space era and far beyond the industrial revolution in SW. This means that factories would be in use to make the majority of all itemsand the current system should

not change. Shipwrights and the blue prints are anotherstory butI feel that the components for SW should be able to be mass produced in factories. Hand crafted armor will be a disaster so please

allow us to remain using the existing system.

Thank you

Currently every Armorsmith has the choice to hand craft or factory run. Why would we want to restrict the way we run our business?

Forcing AS to all do business the same way just make the game less fun.

NO to stupid restrictions!!

No.

The only hand crafting only armor I would support are exotic types, and right now that is just RIS. If there were more kinds of armor, I could see a division with common armors being factory producable and exotics, basicly any armor where you quest for the schematics, being by hand only.

Personally, what I would really like to see is the option to pick the armor color when you take it from a factory crate instead of when you create the manufacturing schematic. Either that ora paint/dye kit for armor, craftable by novice armorsmiths or possibly even artisan, but that is a wholely different discussion.

I don't think anyone should be forced to craft everything by hand, nor do I think anyone should be forced to craft all of their final pieces in the factory.

From a buisnessman's perspective, factories give me the best results with the least amount of time, and time is our most expensive resource of all. If I can put 10, 50, even 100 suits in factories, and then forget about it for a few days then come back and start packaging armor, it gives me time to do other things then to craft everything by hand. Time to survey resources, find minerals, check harvestors, check vendors, stock merchandise, hunt for resources, and of course, have fun doing other things like playing with friends and flying around in space. If I where forced to make my entire stock by hand, not only would everything be so random that putting everything in pre-packaged bags would be a bad idea since nobody would know exactly what's inside, but I wouldn't have time to do anything except craft armor all day long. Which would honsestly drive me nuts. I spend enough time experimenting, finding resources, getting factory runs ready, stocking merchandise, and of course checking up on these forums to do that all day.

I spend a lotof time crafting my favorite padded armor by hands . I play with colours and every set of padded is kind of uniqe. But I don't see any reason for hand crafting of ubese or composite -unless you give me MORE COLOURS!! Here is what I think about it - let us make factory runs of BLACK and WHITE armor -for ppl who don't care about colours and AS who just want to make some money. But let us have more colours for all types of armor then it's crafted by hands- for AS who likes it and customers who want something special .
