quick question about elemental damage....are lightsabers the only elemental damage not working, or is it all weapons that elemental isnt working?

qfe although other professions have some elemental dmg also it is not as much as jedi's do in their color crystals

Elemental damage on all weapons is not working and will be fixed across the board. But the elemental damage on "regular" weapons is by far not as high as 25% or even 30% percent of max damage as it is on lightsabers, so lightsabers will get the larger boost in overall damage with the fix.

thanks eskie, wasnt for sure about the elemental. nice to know we will get something above normal weapons....that should bring my gen 4 double to about 900 per hit without specials.

The same notes that mentioned the elemental damage also mentioned that they were going to fix krayt drops. Unfortunately, they might also make the krayts impossible to kill, but they DID state that they will have krayts dropping premiums again. (Notes from fan fest stated that the fix would be implemented)

well some players care about looks, eye candy and roleplaying. and i think its stupid that sabers have elemental dmg ....... ever see obiwan freezing up a battledroid because of his blue saber ? ........

yeah i hope they get this on and let us test BEFORE that last respec. I wanna know what I'm getting myself into before I repec any points back into LS. As it stands, I'm just novice ls with 5 defender and 2 healing boxes. Trying to get the 6 million xp i need to get x 4 x 4 has been a long and rough task... If elemental damage makes enough of a difference, I think I'll drop the defender, pick up TKM, keep the Healing, and pick up whatever LS skills I can.

i hope they do release more cause it would be boring just having those colors but right now its all thats out there if u want the most dmg out of ur ls when they fix elemental dmg

That is a problem that you don't see a problem. It's all well and good that you tuned a load of crystals and pearls before you got the right ones for your saber. Pre cu and during my fs grind i help guild jedi and friends collect pearls, and when i had nothing to do i did it solo. The point being you had the opportunity to collect them. I've got one decent cystal in my saber that i looted from Mich on my exit quest. The 2 dozen pearls i had tuned to crap. I'm not afraid of the work, but i need the opportunity to get the work done.
