yup, that's what I'd gor for too.
I'm currently Master Fender / Master Swordsman (+ Novice BE for base takedowns)
but with the forthcoming Combat Pass and defense stacking changes, I'll likely drop either Fencer or Swordsmand and hit Master Doc or something else, and retain the basics in Scout too.
Going brawler will not benefit you in any way unless you master it for Warcry II / Intimidate II, which you can't do whilst Mast Doc

I have the same template. I switch between Explore I or Hunting I and Surveying I(Artisan) depending on what I need to accomplish.

looks like we got enough scout supporters here thought I might give another alternative. polearms 4, if you are in to PvP, so that you can weild the awesoem DOT weapons of pikeman. scout is probably the best way to go, just giving another option

Hello All,
Just a quick question for you guys and gals. Under my new template idea, which includes Master Brawler, I'll have 47 skill points left and I'd like to supplement myself with some of Fencer's defenses. The Combat XP tree, I feel, is undesired for this, so that leaves the other three tree. My remaining points allows me to get two full trees and up to III in the third. My question is which IV is the least expendable?
Fencer: 4/4/3/0, 4/3/4/0 or 3/4/4/0
Any advice is helpful, thanks all.

I have a FS character with 3 unlocks, i missed phase 2 and 3.
I've unlocked CP: Ranged Defence, ER: Survival, ER: Melee Defence.
To get the other skills i want (CP: Melee Speed & Accuracy, and ER: Ranged Defence, and HS: Luck) i'll have to wait 32 weeks for all required phases to come by.
If i take skills that i dont want then i can have 6 unlocks in 11 weeks.
My question is, can i change or get another skill tree once im Jedi Initiate? And if so, can you delete the unwanted tree.
This whole process i still unclear to me. I would prefer do get the skill i want instead of getting the skill that will make me jedi faster. What your opinion?

from what has been said on other forum posts, once you reach initiate, the 6 branchs you used to reach initiate are the ones your stuck with. And from what i can tell even if you get other fs branches, soe wont let you change/swap branches.
Basically, if you want to have the perfect template for your character, soe are gonna make you wait as long as possible to get it. After all they don't really want jedi in the game, otherwise everything would be far more simple and lesstime consuming

Why would you be stuck with them?
