Palacek is one of the most thoughtful, considerate and respectful players I have had the pleasure of meeting in this game so I can assure everyone that his intentions were nothing less than innocent interaction. Pal is a roleplayer and as rabidly anti-AFK as I am! LOL!

You have nothing to be concerned about, Pal. I'd say that dancer is lucky I wasn't there at the time or she'd still be trying to pull the heel of my shoe out of her backside in answer to HER rudeness!

ditto

My initial reaction to the original post was to ask Palacek who this rude dancer was & then give her a little reality check. I bit a hole in my tongue.

Honestly I'd blush and prolly assume he is my new best friend.

I'm not pretty at all in real life, and I still don't quite handle positive attention from men in a cool fashion *blush*

I'd prolly talk his ear off and make him think I was a totaly desperatenerd (big surprise there hmm?).

But that's ok! 'cause in the ends, if I'm having fun, he's having fun and no rules are broken, who gives a laughing Monkey Lizard flyin' out a hutt's butt!

What you did is not out of line at all. The dancer way over-reacted. I'm happy if someone walks in and personally notices me at all, it usually means a request for a buff, or someone wanting to chat who will most likely tip. I don't get offended easily, it would take a /drool or a /slap, something of that level to make me object. And my forn of objection is usually along the lines of 'Hey, be nice now!' /grin. Usually more than enough to diffuse that situation.

Id ask what they needed and then do whatever I could to help (grind resources, harvies etc). Only thing I wouldnt do would b to give them anythin to actually craft armor for sale or credits. They can find that themselves.

I normally love helping out new smiths/players. That e-mail is pretty rough. I'd try and determine their primary language and go from there.

i sent tells to an armoursmith when i was starting out and i was lucky he helped me out

if you have never done a crafting proffesion before it can be very daunting and not make much sense and no amount of reading all the posts can answer every question that if you just asked someone to walk you through it can solve.

i also have another AS buddie of mine who i asked for help off with knowledge and stuff now we are producing armour together as a team which is a lot more fun than doing a solo project alone we have 12 factories on the go and opening up new shops on different planets if i was doing it solo and not asking for help when i needed it i wouldnt be getting very far

so you should reply to the mail "how can i help you" because at some point in the game we have all needed help when we didnt know something and without that help a lot of us wouldnt be where we are today

also his english may not be perfect but at least he is trying to learn another language im sure many of us that preach that someone cant spell proberly havent got a second language they can read, write and speak even if its not perfect he tried

and remember not everyone in this game is 40 there are a lot of younger players that are still in school that enjoy playing as well even if they dont know everything yet its still a learning curve for them
