You obviously have not read this entire thread or have any notion of a Wookiee's true issues in the game. Educate yourself a bit before flaming away.

This is what we have been needing and asking for for some time. It gives us a reason to continue playing.

One thing that needs to be addressed though. Even though we will finally be getting armor the issue of actually communicating with your players still needs to be looked at. We spend countless hours playing this game not to mention our $15 per month, we deserve to be communicated with and not ignored. So in the future it would be appreciated if you could give us a little more detail other than "this is being looked into". That is like telling a child "we'll see" when they ask for something. There is nothing more frustrating than getting the feeling that you are being pacified to keep you quiet.

Overall Thunderheart we are very pleased with this anouncement and the game in general......but please address the communication issue! It can be a deciding factor in whether or we stay happy.

Damn some of you people are pathetic. The armor hasnt even been made yet. We dont even have an idea of stats, it could be crap for all we know. And look, already you're crying nerf. Stopguzzling that haterade and let us wookiees live. All we want is a level playing field. Oh and as far as wookiees becoming the new FOTM, its possible but I doubt it. This isnt like changing professions, you will lose everything. The people who will go out and change species areprobably thesame people who do nothing for the community. All they do is look for god templates, cry nerf when they realize someone else is stronger, and most likely use MANY of the exploits we are all familiar with.

I think that's a very good idea. From a roleplay point of view this isn't so good but armors are so important in gameplay that wookies can't PvP without it so I think you're right to do it

I like this for three reasons:

1) We'll be fully armored (yay!)

2) People who complain that Wookiees appearing to have armor on would ruin the experience for them (but Wookiees in the Imperial army and being able to be resurrected indefinitely are OK) won't be able to b!tch about it.

3) No one will know if you're wearing armor, or how covered you truly are. This might instill some of the fear and uncertainty that we should be able to bring to the hearts of our opponents.

You cant have a backpack AND a bandolier on at the same time..

First of all, I'm glad that I don't have to worry about getting in the first hit, and dying if I miss in PvP.

Second, to all who worry about Wookiee superiority: the bonuses we get in HAMdo not make a difference in PvP with the monster damage that is done with flame throwers, head hit 3's, monster bleeds, poison's and diseases. ALL races have a defined advantage in one prof or another (for example, human artisans, mon calamari doctors, dosh TKA's etc). The only thing that make wooks stand out is that they are nicely rounded to fit all professions.

All im going to say is that every game I have played had a Race that was uber.

Wookiee I feel should be uber Race but suffersomewhere.

These are the thoughs on my personal feeling of wookiee's

Their hugh they should take an hit on the Action cause their so big and Stong. They should get a bonus in health and strengh Con too. Mind Should be in the Med range. Their should be some kind of ESL on wookiee's though IE we get Even Armor etc But Takes us along time to Get XP compaired to other races that are just Reg stats etc.

I Have played a wookiee with Damage Mig 3 Master Carbiner now this does nothing for us I have been attacking the same thing as other races and see me taking 300+ hits when someone who is playing human taking 15 Hit all the time. WE have nothing to protect are Heads and are mind well drain out so fast that its a total Joke.

The only Way i have found to play a wookiee and live in PVE not PVP is to take 0440 Doc with the buffs and Heals.

I have been in alot of PVP and all i can say is that were an easier target then a nuna....

When in hugh PVP battels people well Target the Wookiee First cause they know in two hits their down for the count.

Are Stregh isat 600 starting "cant go lower"Tell me how this helps us we cant take those extra points and put them into something else...

Does the extra HAM justify that "Hell No"

Cause every other race is running around with uber armor that when you hit them it hits for 15 points

And uber buffs on top of that.

While all we have is hmm nothing to counter that and last time i checked areWookiee Roar Didnt rip off anyones Arms Legs...

About time we get Armor Im happy only race ive ever played has been wookiee.

For the people that done play as a wook Lets have the server Have Armor turned off for a week and lets see all the crying going on these forums. well see atopic of Whah Crying That has 100 + Pages.
