Since wookies will not be armored, that ham needs to go. Trandos don't care for their ham bonus either believe me. Armors > some bonus ham.
Assuming of course that the armor will be 90% like your composite. I think that's a pretty bad assumption.

I hope not for one reason. A bark or hide armor would perpetrate the myth that Wookiees are primitaves. They are very technologicaly advanced, not primitives.
The best solution would be bio armor because of the Wookiees realtionship with nature. However bio armor and weapons do not fit in with Star Wars.
So technological armor is the best solution in my opinion. Though maybe intigrating some aspects of nature or from nature. How they would do this though I'm not sure. Maybe using modern materials the armor would have spines on the back of it like some creatures in the game do. I don't know.
Ummm you skipped the books with the bio technology of the Vong then altogether......
So you are saying your species has also been gimped since launch?

Don't Trandoshans already have armour? Yes you'll don't have a species unique armour and yes, you'll have armour holes but atleast you've had some protection since launch.
We've been unprotected since launch so don't talk about fairness. If things were fair, we would have got armour sometime in 2003. I know that you think it sucks to have armour holes but try to imagine what it's like having no armour at all.
Add to that the players who complain that our HAM compensates for it. That's not true that all. The extra HAM doesn't even do us all that good in the first place because most of our secondaries are capped.
If you guys want species unique armour, do what we did and post in KStarfire's Trandoshan Issues thread in the Core Systems forum. He's been great inhelping us get this and he'll do the same for you once this is over with. But don't excpect the devs to do both Wookie and Dosh armour at the same time. As it is, this whole thing has taken so much time to come through.
how in the HELL will a wookiee TKM dominate PVP? (even though you could make a good arguement that any wookiee should slaughter the other races most of the time)
tk's are easy as hell to beat.
you can make them totally impotent with ubese/thalkaio/intimidate
shut the hell up
