Thread: Official word on PSG's, lightsaber resists and anti-decay kits?

God why are you a correspondent? You obviously have a hatred for jedi. That's ok though, what bothers me is that you don't know if PSG are supposed to have LS resists yet you go and say they should when a dev hasn't confirmed this. BHs are taking this as a sign that they are supposed to have LS, so they use them and this is causing a huge huge problem for jedi. Or maybe you like the fact that jedi can no longer fight back against melee bounty hunters, when we can only do 70 damage to them, you might as well give them god mode.
You should have your postition taken away, who knows how you will abuse it in the future.

I'm afraid I haven't found your dev post saying it's not right, but I have it on fairly good source that it's legit. Too bad I have to ask permision to post it because it was said in closed doors.

The fact of the matter is PSGs+Synthsteak= jedi cant do any damage. Jedi have no armor which is why ls resist was ruled out.
A new damage type has been created called, "lightsaber damage". All armor is vulnerable to lightsabers, with the exception of Personal Shield Generators. However more to the issue, there really wasn't a new name that fit besides "lightsaber" at the moment. Some of the suggestions by players were "Glowing Beam of light", "lightsaber-energy", "Plasma", "Light" and "Extreme Heat". When considering all of these things, we stuck with a very basic title that everyone could relate to. "Lightsaber" damage is a literal description and describes it as well as we can without creating any form of confusion with existing energy weapons.

Check the other archives, TH states that PSG having LS resist is a bug. They've flip flopped on the issue so when the armorsmith says it is supposed to have LS resists yet provides no proof of Devs saying, it pisses the jedi off.
However using logic, one can assume that because jedi didn't get their composite armor equivelant robes and are vulnerable to all other damage types, their opponents should too.

The AD kits hurts fencers more than any other prof, you jedi need to stop thinking SOE still whipes your ass for you and that yur the center of attention. I'm a fencer and ive already ran into the problem...and I got over it.
Jedi will never be happy unless they can kill anything 1 on 1. ITs always "wah wah that" or "wah wah that" or "my heal lagged" or some BS like that.
And no, I dont want a jedi, I have played one before and I didnt like it.
And quit whining about yur robes too. Punks.
