I've been offered the way out a couple times, and I pay it happily, and sometimes even give them an extra tip on top of it. Pre-CU, getting the cash to pay for that was so easy that I could pay double and not blink an eye. Sure, I'd still be on the terminals, but even if I was hunted again, the chances of 2 bh's in a row beating me were not high.

The one BH that I have never been able to beat was Yyrkoon. On my Server he is a legend in his own time. While others trained in Bounty Hunter, He is one that truly mastered that profession.

I'm waiting to see what difference droids will bring for the BH, especially if they pull out Probots that we can't kill before it blows up, and we can't outrun unless you have FR2. If a few BH's were to sick them on a Knight at the same time, I would expect that the knight would be in deep doo doo. I hear that they still worked while cloaked and I believe they should because while you can cloud the mind of a creature, you can't cloud the mind of a droid. I can still heal while cloaked anyway.

I also think that the droid has to be sent after the Jedi before he cloaks or it's master will not know whom to send him after because he can't see him becuase his mind is so clouded that he can't remember to send the droid after. The /target <player> shouldnot workon a Jedi that is cloaked so you can no physicially track him, nor should you be able to see any of his animations such as the FR trail or meditation lightning.

Anyway, I know it's a little off topic, but yes, If I am offered, I pay it with a thankful smile on my face that they have respect for the hunt, but also respect the hard work that the Jedi's owner has put into the development of that character.

I was offered once. ACtually the coolest BH I came across. He was imp, as am I. But he RP'd. He said something along the lines of "there is bounty on your head. By Imperial order I have been sent to destroy you.....or something like that. He then asked me if I wanted to live or die....being the player I am, I choose to die. He said have it your way, and we fought it out.

I know the consequences of being a Jedi. Yea, we have the longest road, but the most rewards at the end imo. I will always choose to fight rather than pay. I dont get any reward for winning, but mostly all the time its a tell saying "Good Fight" or "Nice Job".

And, I feel more proud of myself taking a BH on, then paying him/her off.

I am specifically saying that ONCE I HAVE INCAPPED a jedi, then I make the offer. I do it as a courtesy, as so many of the jedi recently have not been the uber a$$hats that I was encountering pre-CU.

How do you feel about the offer under those circumstances?

I am in the habit of offering incapacitated jedi the chance to have their bounty paid and avoid the DB, or accept the DB and the accompanying XP loss. Finally, please do not ask to not be hunted. Until the devs take it away, it is not an option.

Bah, I won't take it either, but just because I'll count on "scum" to be "scum" and still DB me. LOL that really is the reason, but I won't just drop you into the level of those types.

For anyone ripping on him and calling him pathetic, well, he is being paid and that's all a BH really cares about...
