I only have crap organics jut the stuff that is in shift now, only the Tatooine Wooly Hideis top and from Composite stock theminerals and chemicals are also pretty good.
Experimental Quality cap at 59% and 75% for the final combine.
I hit 38% stun, 80% kinetic and 59% base using 3 stun layers (more than 38% stun is not possible on Chimaera).
The enc for the 4 pieces is 562-496-352. I think this is as good as Composite can get. We will see 38% stun, 80% Kinetic and eff-sliced 90% armor with half the encumbrance of Composite once organics are just in the 700,800.

well, i guess this means the wookiee's cant B#*% about having no armor, that stuff rivals composite , and it has stun built in with the 80 kin, 60-70 base and good stun, time to make a wookiee??

On Bloodfin i just used 4%/4% kinetic layers and got 80% Kinetic with 61% Base. They only thing i noticed though is all the pices are coming out with different base stats using the same stuff. And Im maxing out the base line and still got 60% on legggs to 65% on one of the Bracers

All my pieces came out consistent. 80% kinetic, 38% stun (best our server can do right now), 60% base for a triple layered suit and 80% kinetic, 64% base for a triple layered kinetic suit.

I'm using this setup
Kinetic layers 4by4 for protection
Padding base 4
ending up with 80 Kinetic with 64% base armor
not bad for my first test

Xlot, do you have a vendor? And how much would you be looking to charge for this armor?

It's good to see some quality armor for those wookiees. But on the topic of the post...is it better than comp? Maybe could be but also remember that, for hunting purposes, we're looking at a head/chest/bicep piece that absorbs the damage from all 4 spotsandhas the same condition as a single piece of composite. So it will decay much faster, especially PvE.
PvP, however, this will be a huge help.
Nice work Smiths.

It seems to me it's better than comp. Having 80% kinetic, and 36% stun on a armor piece is not possible with composite. And considering this is just the first stab using whatever was available and you guys are still getting 60%+ base stats, leads me to think with some time and better resources this will supersede comp, or at least more forgiving on quality....
As an armorsmith I absolutely hate this armor, the organic requirements are nearly insane. So many different materials, I could make a career out of making wookie armor just based on the resources needed alone...

What kind of organics do you armorsmith's need to make this stuff and which stats are most important? Particularly of the fauna variety (hide/bone/meat), as I do a lot of hunting (when I get to play) and would happily harvest the need supplies to help meet the (surely) coming demand.
For all armor resources where quality does matter, we live and die by the OQ, SR, MAL, and UT (although most do not see UT as real important).

Well im convinced .. I made good stuff day one .. now i think im gonna just make wookiee armor from now on. It is a challenge getting all the resources in high quantity and quality, Frankly I/m sick of composite as it has cceased to be a challenge to me. I'm also sick of ubese. I have nearly ideal resources for each. This wookiee armor is new and exciting. And it will probably take me a year to get all ideal resources for it.
