It definitely works, it doesn't remove the chance of a fail in experimentation, but coupled with Research Spec in a city, it does make a big difference

As fatgit said, when you take Bespin POrt, there is still a chance that you can fail in the experimentation. Although people who have experimented with it a lot have told me they got more amazing successes then they did without it.

I only managed to scrounge a half-drunk glass of it off someone else (what can I say, the Brian Tatt tubers are woeful right now, so I'm not making any) ![]()
I took a drink, my next success was 'good' (15.00 tool, +43.2 station, in a research center) ![]()
My next 5 were 'amazing'! Sort of an 'anti-downer', if you will ![]()
Yes, I know this is a completely uninformative post. What can I say, I'm bored.

Was wondering what stats Bespin Port buffed and if there is any market for the raw materials used in this recipe.

Bespin Port increases your experimentation success. Yes there would be a market for these resources.

It doesn't really buff stats or skills. It's not like a +10 Port gives you an additional 10 to your experimentation skill (which would be cool since you'd get another experimentation point).
What it does is improve the odds of your getting a better success type in your next experiment. For a master crafter, most of your experiments come out as "great success" if you stick to doing 2-3 experimentation points at a time. Bespin Port improves the chances of that getting bumped to an "amazing success". For lower-level crafters (with lower skillmodifiers in "experimentation") this can also help reduce the number of "moderate success" or failures.

The market is huge. I can't get Tat berries to save my life. It's quite painful.

Demand is a server to server thing.
I don't make a lot of it, but what I do make sells pretty fast.
The reason I dont sell a lot, is that crafters usually only use it for schematics, and one schematic per hour is as fast as you can effectively use the Bespin, so a crate or part crate lasts quite a while.

IM considering mass producing this, as it seems to be in high demand on my server. Planning on making about 1000 of them. I guess my worry is that this will be extremly expensive with bio parts, etc.
This will effectivly drain my funds.
My question: Is bespin truly in high demand?
Am i going to be shooting myself in the foot only producing this at first? (hoping to make cash to start making more)
I guess i figure it could be either a big hit, or a big bomb.

As a weaponsmith I use quite a lot of Bospin when crafting Krayt guns etc. On one assembly I might use 3-4 bospin (using 3 points each attempt). Worst problem with Bospin is that you get full pretty quick.

any weaponsmiths notice a noteable improvement on results with this?
And from the description it looks like you would have to eat/drink (I've got a crate but I haven't pulled any out yet to know if it's food or drink) one per every time you click "Experiment"
So it would take a good 3 or 4 to use up all my experimentation points on one item (I normally go with 4 points, and then 1 point less than finishing off the bar until I finish the bar)
Yeah, I know it doesn't give me an extra experimentation point, it just improves the results, so has anyone noticed more amazing successes using it?

I messed around with it on patch day and it didn't really seem to do anything.
But then, the sample size was tiny because you only get like four experiments before you're full.
