Thread: 5 not so hard things devs can do to save armorsmithing

Another thing, why was armor crafting made this simple in the exp stages? Weapons where adjusted to where a 12 point smith would still benifit post CU..Im on TC and noticed weaponsmith still use the same amount of resources ..even the newly added weapons are fairly light on resources..What gives? The weaponsmith side of me is thanking the swg gods that there will still be one good crafting profession but then the other half is wondering how they could make weaponsmiths use the same amount/type of resources wherre as the AS has a completely new list of resources to look for...boggles me.

Iam sure WS will get the news somethimes this week or next, i dont think they will let any crafting prof be unfun and untactical.

right on the mark Okram.

My thoughts too. Kin 2245 doesn't mean much to the common player. where as a kin 22% means something.

heck if they want to do it with numbers, do
AC 40
kin +20
Enegy +35
Heat -15
Cold +45
(EverQuest 1 version)

i agree with every point in that list. giving one class natural armor? wth is that? i was a pally in wow and always felt weird that we got a free mount while all other players had to work HARD to get the gold to buy a mount.


oversimplification? why... i mean if your a crafter you must like tweaking... that was one of things about being a doctor that i didnt like... there was pretty much one spot to put your points and that was it.... (other than the constant critical fails)


i really wish they would do away with the level system, this game was designed to be a skill based game from the start and they just throw that out the window because the rest do it this way... its sooooo not fitting of what this game sould be.



as to all as having 2+ accounts... i dont know how true that is.. but i have 3 atm... one is cancelled... soon to be 2 if this flaming train wreck from hell goes live as it is now. how long my main accout will last is uncertain, but if the rest of the CU turns out to be as much of a stinking pile as what they are doing to the AS, i cant imagine i will be around much longer.



i love my AS, he didnt make much money, but he was fun... and helped me and my friend a lot...


my wookiee will mourne his death caused by the CU.

I had a conversation with Blixtev on TC, and it seems like we can forget about #1 in the foreseeable future. The others should be easy to implement.


Funny, I asked the same question regarding TKM when they put the design papers on the forums. Was told I was a doomsday-sayer...


The Combat Level system seems to be the biggest issue now.
