I go to the village with no buffs and no armor in live now,I just circle to the west side of the village. In CU those mobs that you find going to the village,if they do knock you off your bike, you'll be dead before you hit the ground. They hit hard.So watch your radar and RUNAWAY !

Wish I had an RIS Suit, even just sitting in my house,to look at.I can make the boots.I also read somewhere that hands and feet are not going to be taking damage anymore.because wookiees and lizard guys can't wear boots or gloves.

I think we'll do ok on most planets, its the Dathomirian Fiberplast thats gonna be the killer imo.
I feel so lucky on this. We had a real good spawn of Dath fiberplast a couple months back, the best yet infact... I mined about 400k units. So lucky.

dont know about you guys, but Im going to pressure my mayor for space to place my factories near our HQ base at center of town. Currently I have to clear out the damned desert demons with my trusty Rifles II and krayted laser rifle unbuffed.... NO WAY this will be possible after CU.
As for bulk resource collection, ill just withhold armor from guild if I cant get a "protection squad" of elite combat profs to protect me while surveying... as i understand it, if you group with higher lvl peeps they will raise your clvl so wont take as much damage from the aggros.... at least thats my plan. will also probably take up one combat proff to stay alive.... maybe smuggler
(depends on how SP play out)

I don't think many people are gonna wanna do harv runs for me, or do I wanna have to beg/hire people to escort me everywhere.
And don't get me started on this level-difference mulitplier bullsh!t. What a load of crap that it.

So, most of you guys don't have any points to put into a novice elite profession,I do and now I can drop medic and have 15 more points to move around,

well since the current systems damage out put that each mob does is determined by your lvl and the mobs lvl not the defence mods you have and armor you wear (although they make a small difference; just group with someone who has 2 master combat profs and you will notice a dramtic decrease in the damage that they hit you for.

Here is something that happened to me last night. I was going out to load up a factory. Now our city is on Tatooine near the Tusken Fort. So we have tuskens around there a lot (hence my ubese armor and 67% energy PSG). So I drive up to the factory and wait a few secs to check the radar. Nothing on radar. Cool! I load the schem, open the input hopper, list the ingredients for the schem, open my inventory to start loading it. All of a sudden BOOM! I'm incapped. A tusken cheif (along with some other mobs) spawened 34m from me.
I don't have a problem with not being able to wear armor. I don't have a problem with sometimes finding high level mobs near factories or harvs. But they need to appear on the radar. Cruising along on a swoop and having agro mobs spawn behind you means the system isn't fast enough to make them spawn 128 or 256m in front of you. What's the point of having radar if when I ride up to a survey spot and stop something spawns on me.
And yes, pure crafters are going to die... a lot because of this. The dmg that low level mobs can do is insane.

god that would be so cool, wish they would implement speed and handling experimentation for vehicles.
Yeah, I always kinda assumed they would. But no. Why can't stuff like this be added? Why do they continually made changes to Jedi and Faction Based? Ah well, AIM (Ain't My Problem) because I cancalled on the 8th. Chances of reknewing are very slim.

Yeah, what is this D&D? I just starting learning about this a few days ago. Who in the heck thought this was a good idea? If I take a .45 and shoot some people, they are all going to be in the same boat regardless of how much stronger they are compared to me. The levels should just affect Health, special moves, and ability with a weapon/armor. That's it. Don't try to change the laws of physics (albeit a Star Wars laws of physics) :-)

Hey I'll still be doing my factory/Harvester runs. Now just with an even crappier guns and no armor. But you can bet my prices will go up for all the times I'll wind up dying, all the bikes i'll loose cause some mob blew it up in one hit etc. I guess now i"ll have a reason to join all those damn solo gropers who keep inviting me for some damned reason. (My tag says ARMORSMITH! Not Master Rifleman or some crap like that damit! >.<
