When going into RP mode you get a message that you are now /Anon. it removes any titles, and you can check the box marked, "players can search....." that way no one will know who you are. a True RP function, but if RL was like SWG would that girl you see across the bar have the correct title floating over her head?

If you don't want people getting to the room you're in, why don't you move the crafter in front of the doorway? Now, that's ingenuity!

This Armorsmith moaning isn't a new thing. You can do 1 of 2 things:

A: Try raising the cost of Composite to an insane price.. say 250,000 a suit.

or

B: Get people to collect the resources for you and still make them pay 150,000 a suit.

But if you choose to be the Donald Trump of SWG on your server don't be surprised if people are banging down your door for your services. Perhaps, after a week or so of the, ' I don't want your **edit** business cuz I can't take the pressure-AFK-Cop-Out blues', hopefully your competitors with more sack are going to be able to take those pesky loyal costumers away from ya.

I can take it. I'm not complaining really. Just working to find a way to solve this problem and find a balance.

I wish they would put an /ANON function in.

/ANON would feign as if you were not in game. You would not show up on /who lists and not be able to receive tells.

I currently use the /AFK message to explain:

I am busily crafting; feverishly working to restock my vendors.I am not able to respond to tells or taking orders at this time. I will be stocking my vendor at ## PM Est with the following items: A, B, C. Prices will vary based on quality of items. So, "Take Cover!" for all your armor needs at 1234, -5432, Kaadara, Naboo, Kettemoor.

yeah everyone wants composite I mean yeah it look awesome and is but now the once high demand of chitin is gone and everyone wants the best armor even though a master armorsmith can make a supurb suit of bone for less than a composite bracer and with no demand for bone what-so-ever mostartisans are stuck making tones of measley power-ups.

Yeah.. I'm factory crafting composite now. Made my first test run of 100 chitin gloves. I can tell i'm going to need lots of material to keep myself in all the panels and cloth and segments for this kind of operation. Think i'm going to drop my large tatooinian for a medium tatooinian so I can get the lots back.

I just love the raised balcony inside my main room where I have my armor suits on display.

But if this is going to work, I'm going to need LOTS of resources and LOTS of factories.

i feel all the armorsmiths should ban together, form a PA, put there houses together, regulate prices, and pool there money. in doing so you can handle more requests for composite, make more money with less stress, and run your own colony in the process! its genious, but no one listens to me, im a squid.. i mean calamari.

i also know a way to deal with the stupid people who think composite will solve all there porblems. i typed up several macros that i should out.. kinda like propaganda explaining how everything works. after that of course i shout out my vendor location, and when they get there i have display suits that explain more about armor in the process. what do you get in return? i have customers who are willing to pay decent prices for bone armor still! why? because after they learn all stats are absolute, and that a well made suit of bone is better and cheaper then alot of other kinds of armor, they will once again buy bone armor for what its worth.

since all you whinning rich guys seem to take a vaction, why dont you set up some macros and some propaganda displays....

I'm glad that my friend makes all my armor cause as I have always said you crafters are real arses..sorry for saying. You knew when you took up the craft that you'd have customers..why the heck are you even in the profession? go be a bio engineer if you don't like customers... I find it soooo funny that crafters are annoyed with having customers....hahahahha what sort of franchise would want to actually turn away and ignore customers? If I had people knocking down my door trying to buy something from me..IE stims since I am a doctor. I'll be more than glad to fill the orders instead of letting tons of stims sit in bags in my house. You people crack me up, lazy bastages man.....so few crafters go for quality..they just churn out garbage and slap it on a vendor...haha glad you don't want customers cause garbage doesn't sell well anyway. Mass produced factory **edit**e. Reminds me of these poor quality guns this guy named deveron sells...then has the nerve to ask outrageous prices for it.

id like to point out darksmithmage that any profession there is a waiting line. you want to buy groceries at the store you wait in line, you want to see a doctor you wait in the doctors office. however although i love everyone of my customers and respond to every armor request this /tell system is completely annoying. you try to talk to someone about your wares when another person /tell's you in the middle of your convo. now word gets out your master armorsmith.... multiply this by 10. its annoying, although i completey agree with you that they should not complain, i certainly dont!

and I understand that it may get frustrating but answering that frustration with rude customer service or no service at all isn't the way to handle it. it just makes you look like a jerk is all I'm saying. There is a way to turn customers away without the rudeness that I see in so many armorsmiths. Remember that we can't see how many tells a person is getting and myself personally I never send tells, what bothers me is that I see an armorsmith standing at their station and I inquire about armor and they completely ignore me. How am I supposed to know they are swamped with tells? I don't and they never take the time to point out that they are busy, they feel it's easier to disrespect and ignore the person before them. It was like this quite often until my friend grinded her way to master armoring. If they don't like business or getting paid there is little I can say about that..all i can suggest is don't advertise your title..cause there is no point if you don't want to work or if you feel you can't be bothered. If you like wasting resources to get to master status just for a title over your head that's your perogative cause you pay your money each month, but that 15 bucks doesn't give you the right to berate and belittle and otherwise be rude to other people.
