*laugh* Funny how they think they know what IS Star Wars. This is a game; there has to be a degree of playability even at the expense of your 'Star Warsy'-ness, and that claim is weak at best, anyway. Basing your idea on flow on a single wookiee, Chewbacca, is such a fallacy I can't believe you can even say it with a straight face. I mean I never sawimperials try solo krayt dragons with ATSTs (legacy I know), I saw one person that could vaguely be called a creature handler, no one could fit 50 houses in their backpacks nor carry 50 guns, you ate food to stave off hunger and not become superman, healing was only even done in a bacta tank, I never even saw anything vaguely representing armour of any sort in mass use.
But oh no, wookiees get armour, that's so non-Star Wars!
Maybe you should say "anything non Star Warsy should never be allowed unless it benefits me in which case I'm all for it." Bring on the selfish folk! Besides what you think as the Star Wars universe is not the definitive, you ever considered that, or you too busy watching the universe revolve around you?

Im afraid if they do that, it will suck just like the bowcaster...

Are you kidding? Wookiee armor? So the standard race in the game will be wookiees? Nice move.
But hey, keep em down and gimped, that's ok right? Screw you.
Judging from your sig you:
1) don't know much about game mechanics or how they should be
2) are just another tard in it for themselves, works for you then great, if not, nerf it
Now to the details...
Since this is going to be brand-new, never before seen craftable armour, I'm hoping that the armour has a natural look to it.
Other than that though, I have a few more questions and issues:
1) Will the armour be able to house Armour Attachments? I really hope this works out because SEAs are the big thing in this game right now. However, us Wookies have been left out of a large segment of the SEAs just because so many of them are Armour Attachments. Please do give us AA slots in our armour.
2) What kind of base stats will the armour have with relatively good resources? I know that you guys probably haven't begun developing the armour yet but it would be good to know what kind of plans you have in-store. Whatever you do, don't make it as weak as Mandalorian armour and don't make it as strong as the 90% resist composite. My view of Wookie armour should have a high resist to Kinetic and maybe a vulnerability to Acid.
3) Will it be only craftable by Wookie armoursmiths? IMO, I don't think you should do this. Let Wookie armour be craftable by any Armoursmith as it would encourage Wookies to have a certain interdependence with the whole armoursmith community. This is that kind of interdependence that you guys have been gearing this game towards so stick with it.
4) How do you deal with our extra HAM? The extra HAM has never done anything for us and it won't do anything now. However, if you really must fiddle with it, give this unique armour a little higher encumberance to compensate for it.
5) What all pieces will we have? Many will have their own ideas as to what pieces of armour we should have. Some will want us to have just a few pieces so that we don't look like 'tall humans in armour' and some of us will want every single piece there is for compete protection. I am somewhere in the middle. My view is that we should have the following pieces
- Helmet: This would be open-faced in front.
- Chest plate: This would have a slightly broader shoulder.
- Left & Right bracer: This would be inclusive of gloves and not make gloves a separate piece
- Armour waistwrap: Don't give us leggings but give us an armoured kind of waistwrap
In this setup, there would be no boots, no biceps, no gloves.
That covers all the major issues except for one. COMMUNICATION. As the development process on this goes along, please let us know how things are progressing and what the end product will be like so that we can give our feedback at that stage as well.
