wow a 7 ft tall wookiee is finaly gonna be able to stand up to 5 ft tall human in a fight and maybe win/shutter....
Devs you better not gimp us on armor after what you have put us through since launch.

Anyone who says this ruins the "feel" of SW is kinda ignorant.
This is a game we pay to have fun with.
Not get killed by Mod Stackers with no talent, one shotted constantly, or made to feel inferior because of a racial game choice.

Thanks TH.A lot of people on this particular thread and on the forums as a whole seem to think the best way to play this game is to flock to the most powerful profession. Now here we have some people saying we're going to be the uber race because of armor. lol You people can't seem to get past yourselves. All you care about is power and being the most uber. I've been struggling to make my wookiee work for the longest time and I've succeeded for the most part, but not without my share of quick deaths, especially in PVP. It's about time wookiees got some love. If you thing we'll be overpowered or have some huge advantage you're sadly mistaken. This will bring us closer, if not even, with other races in PVP. What'll change is you're going to have a wookiee on your six instead of on the ground from a mind incap. /wookieeroar

Very nice wookie armor... what bout fixing the 3 other armors that are bugged.. called psgs, tantel and ris .. shifting stats still are there.
Just hope for you wookies that well wookie armor doesn't stat shift or else it will be as useless as psgs or you will have to have 5 suits to make sure that it can be worn in the area your in.

To the people wanting wookiee armor to be some kind of "nature" armor because of wookiee ties to nature...
Should any wookiee built droid be made of twigs and leaves? How about wookiee space vehicles? Build those out of bark I suppose? Their ground vehicles look like the Flintstone car? I think not, wookiees are capable of building advanced computer systems, spaceships and weapons made from alloys and metals and such. There is no reason they wouldn't make armor from an advanced compound as well. They aren't ewoks either, ewoks are primative, wookiees are far from primative.

I think that what people are asking for is not 'nature' armour but a look that has a hybrid feel to it. Because, it would look rather bad to see Wookies in suits that look like Composite as we would just end up looking like 'taller humans in Composite'.
Take current Wookie clothes for example. They are very different from non-Wookie clothes. Likewise, the armour should have a similar look which is what I think the devs will have planned for us.
A nature-like hybrid does not equal primitive. The Mon Calamari have a very nature-like hybrid technology and noone would ever say that a Mon Calamari Starcruiser is primitive
