I hope not for one reason. A bark or hide armor would perpetrate the myth that Wookiees are primitaves. They are very technologicaly advanced, not primitives.
The best solution would be bio armor because of the Wookiees realtionship with nature. However bio armor and weapons do not fit in with Star Wars.
So technological armor is the best solution in my opinion. Though maybe intigrating some aspects of nature or from nature. How they would do this though I'm not sure. Maybe using modern materials the armor would have spines on the back of it like some creatures in the game do. I don't know.

wookiees arent pirmatives just because they use nature to their advantage.
all of their cities are made out of the branches of giant trees - not with concrete or plasteel.
they would use natural means in all their technology if it suited their needs. - and who knows how strong the bark of their trees are? this is sci-fi.

Although I had already sent an email to my entire guild to rally the troops to getting the Maurader Armor, but if we get Wookiee Armor... well I think I can forgive you 
A couple of things I want to mention though...
- How exactly is this armor going to look? Please dont give us some space age, futuristic looking battle suit. Wookiees would look best in something that looks natural and still connected to nature in some way, while still showing off their technological prowess.
- How much are you going to "balance" the higher HAM bonus with the effectiveness of the armor? I know you are aware that +300 (or whatever) to health is NOTHING, even with 25% resist chest plate armor, compared to 80% resists. Please tell us what math you are working with to determine the level of trade off or cap of effectiveness for the armor.
- Why did you notice that the Maurader Armor was not possible for wookiees AFTER you announced it and even started patching Publish 7 to Live?
Other than those things, I applaud you for making such a wise decision in the fight for wookiee equality. You guys are really starting to show your level of understanding (still unsure about the experimentation stuff, but ill wait till you announce the big picture ).
