Thread: Top 5 things that you want fixed
I'm sure this has ben saidbut I think these Armor Experimentation skill attachments need to be nerfed.
The only people who can afford to buy them, or who can afford to bid so highly on them are rich players and well established armorsmiths who have the cash to pay what is needed to acquire them, newer players and armorsmiths cannot get these.
It is kind of a double blow to new armorsmiths, firstly they can't afford these armorsmith experimentation bonuses, secondly the armorsmiths who do have them are getting the bulk of the business because their armor is so much better with these extra points and thus the new armorsmiths can't compete even if they had good resources. +25 armor experimentation in skill attachments means 2 extra experimentation points, this means 12 points when making layers, 12 points when making segments and lastly 12 points for the final crafting of the armor piece itself, thats 36 experimentation points used whereas everyone else is limited to 30 and this is just really hard to compete against, REALLY.
There seems to be a problem with the Wookie armor. I'm not quite sure what the issue is.. The armor looks a lot like hair and doesn't seem to have any resistances other than 50% to cold.
Can you please have the developers look into this bug and let us know where we stand.
Thanks
ok I am a novice on starsider and all these bugs are horrible but i think the main thing u gotta work on is the customization.
1. be able to make your armors unquike by molding (adding spikes etc.) and adding your logo.
2. MORE ARMORS i just started and am amazed at how few armors we can make
3. and of course all the bugs
1. Wookiee armorhelmet
2. Wookiee armor chest piece
3. Wookiee armorleggings
4. Wookiee armor boots
5. Wookiee armor Gloves and bicepts
is that so hard to ask for?
Take out the requirement for loot items for RIS armor, or make them more accessible. As it is, they are WAY too rare, for way too little armor. Frankly, the stats are marginal at best, and it's WAY too expensive to make.
Add some loot items and such that Armorsmiths can actually get doing Artisan missions. Perhaps a faction reward, or just NPC missions.
More armor types-NON factional as well. (ie- Scout Trooper armor I have seen on NPCs of both sides. So just make it a new schematic you can do crafting quests for from any recruiter, rebel or imperial.) Other armors that would be nice to have in game- Snowtrooper (maybe in Space Expansion, along with Hoth?), Mandalorian (Maybe mission reward from Bob Fett?), Clone Trooper armor, etc?
Most important, we need more recognizeable armor to make, whatever it is. Scout troopers are like number one for most people, and Mandalorian. But armorsmiths get neither. We do get Ubese, which is Leia's armor from Ep 6, that's cool...and tantel..Lando's armor from the same film. But that's it. Armorweave closely resembles the armor that Jango's sidekick used in Ep 2, so that's arguably from the films...But composite, as cool as it is..just isn't starwarsy to most people, it never appeared in a single film. and Padded...What's with that helm? No offense..But I've never ever worn a padded helm...even if a visor over the eyes was added it would at least be wearable, but armor that protects the whole head..except the part that's most likely to get hit in combat..umm..no. Why not a helm resembling a SWAT helm, with padded covering for mouth and nose, or something here? There's not much in the way of Armor in the films, so I can understand your hard task here..But with some of the coolest types unavailable, and faction crafting schematics totally unavailable..that's just wrong.
As most had said already fix the damn bugs that are in since many months
and please, please, please implement some new armor styles i'am bored to see anyone running in composite. Additionaly it would be a great idea to let them look better than the existing ones. Yeah i know SW-World etc. but hey most armor sets look like a molden peace of junk glued with some peace of scrap metal. How about special armors for the various races ? I think every race would implement a special set of armor that works best with their natural given stats.
Also please make experimenting inencumbrance more usefull in themoment it's a mere waste ofexperimentation points because the loss in ressistance isn'tworth the reduced stat cost.
How about a new layer that actually reduce the stat cost but offer no protection ?
Or some layers that will increase agiven stat.. in these times it would be possible to build exoskelletons in a very small size.
I for myself would also love some kind of bio-armor but i think this wouldn't be very SW like ..
