Meanwhile, don't be surprised if you find a blue rug adhesive selling for 1 million credits which can be looted only by ubber-players after hours of killing mobs.

Not true, you wouldnt believe what I have looted Adhesives from but I got 2 glass table, one blue rug, one orange rug, one sculpture and 3 gong adhesives in abou 24 hours (Say 12 hours of actual play time)Totally completed the rugs, one table, the sculpture and all 3 gongs with little help from the bazaar or vendors.

Ok, several of my associates brought some of the schematics to me tonight for my standard fee (one for you, one for me) and I noticed that I could not make factory schematics from either of thetechnical consoles or the blue couch but I COULD make them from the glass cafe table.

I know for a fact that these were looted earlier in the day.

Is it possible that they just missed the table when they nerfed it?

I'd say it is possible. Actually I'd expect it given SOE's track record.

Just to rub salt into the wound - I'm a Smuggler and I can make furniture now thanks to the schematics!

Being a Master Rifleman/Smuggler I can kill pretty much anything that is capable of being killed, unfortunately I'm also Imperial so I can't get most of the schematics anyway. Then, If I actually do find a schematic I know I won't be able to find anyone to make it.

Why oh why did they make schematics????

Anyway, just wanted to jump in here and wish y'all luck with this - I hate seeing any crafter class get messed around like this.

Cheers

My biggest gripe about the looted schematics is that some of these are things we architects should already have had. I hope with loot pass #2 we don't have to loot schematics for small potted plants style 2 because that would be rediculous. This already is rediculous. Furniture doesn't need to be super rare because its just furniture. There are plenty of other things they could use for "rare" items why pick on us? And on top of that they want to make this loot system "fun" to find new items but there are over a hundred npc's in the game that don't give u jack for doing their missions. They only fixed TWO planets! This is seriously a step in the wrong direction. WASTE OF TIME

Ok, I think the sneaky devs fixed this with this update, 'cause I didn't get the option to make a schematic for these. Why oh why, didn't I do this before the server went down...

Hi All,

I am new to the archi profession but i have played more on than off for over 2 years (beta 2 )

I think that the schematics for furniture was meant to be like weapons ie scyths. u could make a few from each schematic.

the furniture schematics where obvoiusly "bugged" if I dare use that term, and master archis everywhere took advantage of this "oversight" by SOE.

Now that the schematics are "as intended" the facility to mass produce has been removed BUT does that mean archis with a few hunrded blue couches imperial consoles Radar screeens and the like can "inflate" the price!

I appreciate that its a case of supply / demand but point a bug exploit point b raking in the cash.............. I thought this was Star Wars , not Star Trek with a few Ferengi thrown in.

I am sure u will do what u think is right, but as has been posted already how many people want the L77T 111 uber furntiture in a house they hardy stay in.

If I might be so bold as to suggest an alternative. Sit back sell at "normal" prices dont take further advantage of the non archi player base.

These customers of yours/,ome will hopefully respect u and me for this and come back for more.

I personally speak with me wallet. I wont pay 100k for a blue chair when i can get a brown one for 2 k !! Think about it guys.

Frank

Normal prices? What's a normal price for a scythe? Ever check how many resources it takes to make items for other classes? It's not like it takes less time to make an architect's item than any other crafting class. You might say that a scythe requires special materials you can only get by killing something hard, while these loot schematics require less difficulty to get and so the scythe prices are justified. That's the architect complaint in the first place. There aren't really elite desirable items.

This post again repeats the idea that architects take advantage of the player base.

Why do you say they were 'obviously' bugged? Should we assume that every new thing put in the game is broken until SOE fixes it?

We've been able you to make manufacturing schematics out of limited use painting schematics for over 11 months now. That pretty much set the expectation for us that limited use schematics being made into manufacturing schematics is intended behavior.

We know now in hindsight that the loot schematics were not intended to be made into manufacturing schematics. SOE didn't tell us before hand.
