Ya I agree that the rarest items should be the more unique or cool ones. A couch isn't really very cool or unique so it shouldn't be that rare. But then we had loot kit items like rugs which were made fairly rare due to adhesive rarity.
I don't think the tanned hides are too rare. I got 2 tanned hides and 1 Tatooine tapestry during one 1-2 hour session at the Tusken fort.

This is something to keep in mind for the people that are voting for "furniture colorization during crafting only."
That will effectively put an end to your ability to mass-produce furniture and you'll have to craft each piece by hand or make very small runs of 6 billion different color combinations.
It is for this very reason that I am not a tailor.
you either loose money or get called a @$&$# #!@##$* #$^&*$& #%#$%*.

Now that we know for sure this change won't be reverted, what are you all doing with the stock you have left? I was thinking about selling off nearly everything I had for the same price as before, but I'm afraid that large amounts will be bought up and resold fora much higher price. But I hate raising prices, cause I always think people will think that I want to ripp them off.
Any suggestions?
I would put them on the vendor in limited numbers. Like list 5 of them for sale. That way you won't have to worry about resellers doing so much damage.
Then if the market starts raising the price on them then you can raise your price if you want. I wouldn't worry about people calling you greedy. They only want it cheaper so they can pay you a lower price and therefore keep more of their own money, thereforethey are greedy. Like my logical there?
And you can always give a discount price to your friends and good customers.
Just my $.02
work that one out oO
