Ya I agree that the rarest items should be the more unique or cool ones. A couch isn't really very cool or unique so it shouldn't be that rare. But then we had loot kit items like rugs which were made fairly rare due to adhesive rarity.

I don't think the tanned hides are too rare. I got 2 tanned hides and 1 Tatooine tapestry during one 1-2 hour session at the Tusken fort.

My fee for making the new looted schematic will be the same looted schematic. The combat person gives me 2 schems and I give him one item.

Why dont you understand people?

Those are NOT MEANT TO BE LOOT! Those are our own schematics! Tailors wanted theirselves, and they got it, WHY CANT WE GET OUR OWN DRAFT SCHEMATICS?

May be a Tech Console but not couch, not glass table, not a fricking plant...

Those are not loots like Scythes... Those are not uber weapons, those are not Exceptional or legendary items!

Just heads up and stopdistrubuting our own schematics, our own schematic rights to uber c0mbat d00ds!

This is something to keep in mind for the people that are voting for "furniture colorization during crafting only."

That will effectively put an end to your ability to mass-produce furniture and you'll have to craft each piece by hand or make very small runs of 6 billion different color combinations.

It is for this very reason that I am not a tailor.

A-friggen-men I really really hope we do not get that option. It's going to make life a living *&%$ for us, having to redocorate peoples houses. I see the crap my fiance' goes through geting suff to match...

Now that we know for sure this change won't be reverted, what are you all doing with the stock you have left? I was thinking about selling off nearly everything I had for the same price as before, but I'm afraid that large amounts will be bought up and resold fora much higher price. But I hate raising prices, cause I always think people will think that I want to ripp them off.

Any suggestions?

nope, either way you go, you're screwed.

you either loose money or get called a @$&$# #!@##$* #$^&*$& #%#$%*.

Bug fixes. Heh! Smuggling. Heh! A Jedi craves not these things.

My SWG Observations

If they stopped the expansions for one year and gave quality revamps to the professions that need it most, many people would resubscribe.
With all the resubs, and the new players, there would then be plenty of money to hire enough people to do 2-4 quality revamps per year plus 1-2 larger expansions per year and/or 2-4 smaller expansions per year, and not give the BigWigs a pay cut. (Possibly even an increase)

I am unfamiliar with this concept of "discount" of which you speak.

"discount" =A scam by which I convince chumps that they are getting a good deal. Start by charging 50% more than everyone else then give them a 'discount' by reducing the price by 25%.

I would put them on the vendor in limited numbers. Like list 5 of them for sale. That way you won't have to worry about resellers doing so much damage.

Then if the market starts raising the price on them then you can raise your price if you want. I wouldn't worry about people calling you greedy. They only want it cheaper so they can pay you a lower price and therefore keep more of their own money, thereforethey are greedy. Like my logical there? And you can always give a discount price to your friends and good customers.

Just my $.02

As a "combat-type" I feel your pain.

If I loot one of these schematics I realise that it will be hard for me to get it made; but I don't blame you "crafter-types" for feeling like this. Afterall, it's not as if you guys can go out and loot MOBs.

However, the bigger picture seems to be, once again, how the Devs (and JustG in particular) have completely missed the point!!! In what possible way could a 2 or 3 use schematic be considered something that can be "mass-produced"?? Mass Production of 3 units.... OMG!

I really despair at times, I really do. This "decision" by the Devs is going to completely unbalance the economy again.

"Seveteen Thousand??? We could almost buy our own couch for that!"

"Yeah, but who's going to build it kid, you?"

"You bet I could - I not such a bad Artisan myself"

As an architect, I just can't understand why I must be an ubber-killer and spend too many hours kiling and killing mobs just to get a schematic for a blue couch.....with just a single use!

Is it so hard to implement a quest-based loot system oriented to the different swg professions???

Imagine I want a new schematic (with 5-10 uses, not just 1 nor 1000) for a blue couch: I could start a quest where I have to craft certain component of certain quality or with certain resources and then go to a junk dealer and trade it for another component. Then I could upgrade that new component with other pieces or resources and get a pre-schematic which Icould trade in a hidden tent of a remote planet for a real -and limited- schematic. (this is just an example, let your imagination flow)

Meanwhile, don't be surprised if you find a blue rug adhesive selling for 1 million credits which can be looted only by ubber-players after hours of killing mobs.
