Thread: It's official -- the loot schematics have been nerfed :(

Exactly what are you referring to here? This comment is out of left field and frankly I cannot see how it applies to this situation? Also, it simply is too vague. I would appreciate specific examples of what they consider "workarounds", as there sure aren't any for Architect that I see.

I am lucky enough to have created 1000 runs on both consoles, the table and the tapestry. Was in process of gathering hide for both the Hides.
I will make 1 each of the hides for me for display and will not be making any of these items going forward.
Boo to SOE for this nerf - it was like being teased.
What next? Why not just take out all schematic possibliities and make every crafter hand craft each item - I would love to sit around and hand craft wall mods. That would make the game so much fun.
Stupid stupid stupid - with all the other things broken they sure can spend time nerfing things instead of fixing them.

Try shipwright - No factories for parts or chasis.
It gets old quick. Even after the fun of custom building ships (every ship and it's partshas different needs/stats to experiment on), I realized I could crank out 10 'custom' parts of each type and have 10 custom built ships.
Hand crafting is nice for a week or so in a situation like this, but imagine if all professions went to hand crafting....
I agree. I have a master shipwright, and he's next to be cancelled!

You either bring me a spare of the same, or you pay me 100k to make it for you.

I plan on doing my business the same way. Until the devs fix this, we have no choice but to pass this inconvenience onto the customers. I hate doing it, but the Devs have put our collective back up against the wall.
That was my plan exactly.

I was only gonna charge 50k but I like your idea better.

If we can mass produce any schematic item then it makes everything common and completely trashes the idea of having some items be rare and some not. And once a few architects have vendors stocked full of every one of the new loot items there is really no point in anyone hunting for them any more.
A freekin couch! How rare should a damn couch be? I could understand the tapestry maybe. Possibly even a few of the posters. But not a couch, or glass table, or even the tanning hide (which every scout should have). So now I'm going to have to spend upwards of half a million fora couch?
Good thing I bought those two factory crates of glass tables last night at 10k each! Sit on those a couple of weeks and *bam* 3 million credits easily!
