My god! This is a multi person game! Find a couple friends and borrow their un-used lots! I'm supported by my pa and I provide them with all their houses and furniture free of charge. I have never bought a resource on the bazaar and have many return customers outside the PA. I'm sure I do undercut your prices, but I'd feel guilty charging more.

Well you're right that this is a multiplayer game, however the devs are trying to create a capitilist based economy. What you are talking about is socialist in nature. So don't come here and bash us for trying to foster the capitilist side of the economy. Dalyn this is socialism at its finest.

But back to the question, you explain to me what it is that is illegal and I will respond.

if you mean a monolopy where the same person that creates the raw materials also makes the finished pruduct and sells it you are wrong I can point to a dozen companies that do that every day.

What is illegal?

I had already pointed out that you are running a verticle trust which is highly illegal in the US. Hell ask Microsoft about it. Ask AT&T about it. These are two companies that were under litagation for running a horizontal trust. What Walmart did defiantely could be construed as illegal, however I'll be the first to admit that I don't know the exact specifics of their cases.

Now please point to a dozen of yourcases where companies are running verticle trusts.

So you are saying that every archetect on every server that mines their own resrources is doing something wrong.....

ROFL!!!!!!

I shouldnt glorify that stand with an answer... I should will just laugh.

Did you know that wineries own the land that grow the grapes and bottle the wine themselves and often sell it directly to the consumer?

Did you know that weyerhouser owns the land that grows the trees and the paper plants that makes paper and boxes and all kind of finished products?

The examples are in the millions, not hundreds.

Wow, so architects that can make extractors should not actualy use them, that would be bad eh?

( chuckle )

No, what I'm saying is that an architect that mines his own resources than sells his completed products for less than the resources is worth is breaking real world law. This is against the Clayton Antitrust Act of 1914 because it was aimed exclusively at "unfair price cutting" which is what you and others are doing. Furthermore your claim with the wineries and paper mills is off.A winerymay be all ran, more or less, together, but as long as it's not in such a way to promote unethical business practices it usually isn't bothered by the FTC. The wineries sell their bottles at the same if not higher price than the distribution networks they sell them to. How you came up with the paper mills is beyond me. The logging companies sell mulch to paper mills which in turn sell completed products to distribution networks such as walmart. The logging company is not involved in the whole process.

what rath is saying little man is that you are mineing for resource anduseing YOURCOST not the market value for the resource to set your prices for the Final product. this gives unfair disadvantage to the folks who have to buy the resources needed to build the final product and is against the law in most countries.

So in the End what your doing is price fixing .. and creating a monopoly where only a select few will be able to compete there for no more free market.

Wrong.. Weyerhouser owns the land, pays the loggers themselves, and the owns the trucks that move it to the mills and the finnished product plants. I buy boxes from them, I have seen the entire operation.

Come on, you are streaching....

Archectects that can make extractors should not actually use them... are you seriously saying that?

No they want me to price fix and I refuse to do it!

They want me to join them and secretly fix the price of products so that we all sell at the same price. I refuse.

I think everyone should be free to set whatever price they want to set.

I will defend your right to set whatever price you want.

They are the price fixers, not me.

I haven't called you stupid yet today Dalyn.

Someone was asking for examples of selling resources for 4-6. I sold 200k high quality fibre at 5 each to make a quick mill to doctors this past shift. I'm currently mining a CRAZY copper that's selling for 3-6 like hotcakes. If I wait for a week AFTER that copper is gone, I'll be getting 8-12 per unit.

Sure, if you mine trash resources, it's not worth a whole lot, expect to sell at 2.5 to someone grinding. You don't have to mine trash. My 93% copper vein of AMAZING copper comes in just as fast as a 93% vein of trash.

Armorsmiths get 40 cred/u. Weaponsmiths get 50-250 cred/u. Don't be stupid. Mine resources that AS/WS will want. Less work, better profits.

Dalyn, Sam Walton was an **edit** that drove thousands of good hardworking Americans out of business. Why? Because it made him rich in the process. The **edit** everyone else to make a buck attitude is hardly one to hold in esteem.

Again, I sit behind my millions, and enjoy the game, and laugh at you, and your "Super leet business skeelz". Why do I post? Your folly intrigues me. Your arrogance annoys me. Your disregard for your fellow Architects disgusts me.

I don't care much for the decay idea either.. I'm an architect. and well that would upset my supplies too.. I think it'd hurt my business more than help it.. I'd rather they add another product that we can sell that would be Maintance. instead of paying maintance directly from money,.. a person buys a maintance item from us. it gets used up they'll have to buy more.. or maybe a combo of both

Dalyn, I really don't think you are getting it. We are trying to talk about something and you come in and disagree with everyone. No one has ever said you should or shouldn't do this or that with your pricing. BUt you seem to have an opinion about everyone else. You say everyone is doing stuff the wrong way and the way you are doing it is the neatest way. We don't really care about walmart, Sam walton, Opec, your business model, your hatered against "The man", How your customers take advantage of you, No one posts more then you on the architect board. and in every post you seem to do your best to not post anything helpful or constructive. You are having your own little argument with who knows what and none of us really care. I don't want to read and contribute to the forums because I have to see your posts. Can you please , please stop trolling so **edit** much.
