Thread: Architectual Item Pricing

So what are the possible explanations at this point?...
1. Stownhart was selling at those low prices and simply burnt out / failed as the extreme undercutter is apt to do. So he closed up shop.
2. Stownhart was selling at those prices and his advertisement here caused his fellow Corbantis architects to buy him out like a pack of rabid capitalist vultures. So he closed up shop.
3. Stownhart and/or kallaswi are engaging in Trolling and the whole thing is fabricated. Either for entertainment or in a vain attempt to try and affect architect prices. The shop was put in the middle of nowhere as a feeble attempt to grief people by leading on a wild goose hunt across kryat spawns.
4. Stownhart was selling at those prices but for whatever reason closed his shop temporarily and will reopen and come back here at some point and tell us how wrong we are etc etc.
5. Pawlin has multiple alts, too much time on his hands and a severe case of schizophrenia. No I don't. Yeswe do.
Any other possibilities?
Well he posted the original message just under 2 weeks ago and said he had all those items in stock at those prices. Since nobody I have talked to ever heard of this guyor his shop, and he never gave the waypoint to anybody, I find it hard to believe that he got "burned out" and sold everything he had. After all, it's hard to sell anything if you won't let anybody know where your shop is and you arn't on the world map (and your "shop" is out in the middle of nowhere with a 50k entrance fee)
I was actually hoping this guydid have ashop. I originally went looking for it in good faith. But considering he stopped posting when pressed for the location of his shop, and then the suspicious emergence of his "satisfied customer" friend who was happy to "attest to the fact"butwho ALSO wouldn't give a waypoint -I think it's pretty obvious what was going on here ![]()
I think what will happen next is we won't hear from Blackstarr again, or if we do he'll coincidentally just be back from "vacation", or his grandmother had cancer, or he got in a car accident or some other pressing need to explain his absence and then he'll claim his vendors got sold out and he is closing up shop until further notice ![]()
Kind of funny, actually. Of course if he ever posts anywhere again his credibility wll be -zero-

The reason you cant see it is that it has been 1starred 20 times, which will make a post unvievable if using the default setting on the forum. You can change this setting in your profile.

I'm not really sure what you are trying to say.
What is your point? Can you put it into a single sentence for me?
Honestly, P. Why do you try?
BTW, I'm 40 and have yet to lay intohis semantics and lack of business acumen. whoopie.
I really tire of the grandiose drama people bring to these professional forums. Tell someone who cares about your life style mate. This is a game and if you cannot keep your context therein, why would anyone care to explore the profession with you?

A person can live on minimum wage. So you, as a carpenter, doe you charge low? Or do you lower prices only to remain competitive, but otherwise charge what the market will bear, ie charge as high as a significant number of people will pay?
I set a flat rate for furniture that doesn't require specific ingredients (2k), I have a s***load of stuff on my vendor, and it sells. Likewise bazaar furniture sells at that price.
Overcharging? Not only do I undercut some people, people are quite willing to pay.

If only I was slimy enough...
That's pretty evil.
