our factories take 2 lots simply because they are bigger than the other factories and they are able to make items that are much larger than any other item..

Personal, medium and heavy harvesters each take one lot yet the mediums and heavies are bigger visually and can mine more. Small and medium houses both take 2 lots yet mediums are bigger visually.

It wouldn't be any worse or any different for a structure factory to take 1 lot just like all the other factories.

MercyQ's input:

1 Colors for furniture. I mean if vehicles can get it then why can't we?

2 Working lamps. Torches are great but give us alternate light sources too

3 Altitude Adjustments. I mean if I place an item in the house that has no stairs, Then I would love to be allowed to place my desklamp ON my desk..is that too much to ask?

4 Faction Specific Furniture. If I'm an Archy that joins a side can I make stuff for all my fellow comrades that only they can possess?

5 Working Storage Space. If I build a closet.....Can it please hold clothes with out counting against the house and do more than look pretty?

6 Profession Supportive Furniture. I mean Counters for Merchants, gun Racks (that work) for Weaponsmiths, Signs that are placeable and customizeable,Bounty Hunter Trophy Cases, etc.

the problem with putting forward bugs as top 5 issues is that they are already know bugs and are allready of the fix list. imo this is just a waste of a wish.

omu's being uncrated is a bug, this is known and will eventually be fixed.

extractor animations and misreported power use is a bug, known and on the fix list..

Hunden, This isn't a list of the top 5 things we wish to see changed or added for our profession, but the 5 problems that need to be addressed.

These bugs I had put in my top 5 issues for the profession have been know about and been a problem for us for more then 2 months now. These are things that effect the architect profession that aren't getting the attention they need and is the reason why I'm bring it up.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for adding more and new contain but lets get the stuff we have already fixed before we get more things that can go wrong.

Been playing since the begining.. Bought my house, factories and furniture and still have all of it and I dont need anything else.. I agree there has to be some sort of "decay" or something or the architech will become extinct.

I am not an architech but here is my list.. Order is not listed by importance.

1. Increase number of lots an architech has ( Master only maybe ) Lots +10 would give an additional lot for buildings.

2. Medium to Heavy harv balancing issue.

3. Container type furniture, or add the ability to current furniture ( dressers, chests, ect.)

4. The most important economic idea for architechs is the Furniture coloring tool ( Mentioned Above ).

Sadly, custom floor plans are not possible since all interiors and items are pre-built fabrications..

I did not list any bugs besides #2 since I feel they should be top priority anyways.

Non Architech thoughts. That have to do with Furniture and Housing.

1. Z-Axis movement of items.

2. Ability to lock any door we choose. ( I dont want people to see what I have in my work area, they should have access to my vendor room and thats it. )

3. Give lamps their purpose back, give them light. ( Have you seen how dark a Naboo house is? )

I agree, except for the decay thing, nice for us but sux for the game and casual player. The standing lamp thing is long overdue, as is color options on furniture, the ability to make the other types of plants that already exist in the game in addition to rugs and other pictures is also needed. And for god sake, a move up and move down command for furniture is a must! And yes, fix the bugs, the armoire thing and lack of harvestor animations is just a glaring reminder of how unimportant the develpers think architects are.

We're getting close to the point that I think we can almost wrap up this thread. If you haven't voted yet then please do so.

BERs on harvesters should not overlap between sizes. The best small should yeild more than the worst medium. The best medium should not produce more than the worst large.

Pawlin-

Don't get me wrong, I think we need to discuss our common problems. But do you think this thread (or anything like it) will ever actually cause something to be changed for the better?

Could we seperate or consolidate bug fixes separately from other issues? In particular the harvestor power display bug affects more than just us and there is a 'fix' on TC for it currently, although it does appear that now it's the maintenance that is messed up now. Which leaves the main bug of the ore mining units not crating, which has already been submitted to the dev team.

Agrin: Perhaps its naked optimism, but hopefully we will have a correspondant again someday, if we can get a dev to either a)realize that our current one has gone MIA, or b)if they are aware, to do something about it. I for one am getting just a little frustrated at the lack of aresponse to the problem. Especially when I see posts in other forums about how they are doing x or y to improve communication between the devs and the community. I would think that making sure each profession has an ACTIVE correspondant would be an important tool in that process.
