The best title a 4444Guardian can put on before they complete the knight trials is Padawan. So no, they're probably not a padawan.... at least in the sense you're thinking.

No way that guy was a padawan. Likely a 4/4/4/4 Guardian with the wrong tag. noob Jedi's will get wtfpwned by master level templates, just ask a few of the BH's that are collecting right now.

When you said 'just a PADAWAN' that was enough for me. There is a BIG difference between a padawan with8 skillpoints of Jed skillsand a Padawan with 250 skillpoints of Jedi Skills. A padawan with 250 skill points can be pretty scary.

First off let me say I enjoy swg Immensely, but I like many other Jedi friends of mine have a huge complaint on them, when publish 9 came and we did the conversion and obviously were able to get other professions on top of being jedi was all good and all...but one of the major problems is the more skill points we need for force skills means the more we need to drop those professions such as tk/fencer that helped out a great deal. Why is that a problem?? big reason, we lose a ton of defense and can no longer take the hits like we could when we were tk/fencer jedi, we die much easier now.....another thing, we worked extremely hard to do 27+ professions to get what?? the most elite amongst the elite profession and for what? to get beat by a fencer?? lol I believe the one movie was called return of the jedi, in swg's case it's called return of the Fencer...it's a joke and not funny. It should be much harder than that to beat a jedi if you went according to the movie's which is far off. I have a couple friends that are well above the knight status now and they died to a tk/fencer 1 on 1??? now tell me what you see with that problem? and they are very good pvp'ers, another problem, or shall we say flaw in the jedi system, to be a great PVP'er we need to work the 1-hand saber line, why? because it has the mind attacks, if we use Double bladed or 2-hand line we get beat, now that's a problem if you ask me, what if our weapon of choice didn't happen to be 1-hand? well were forced to use 1-hand if we want to win, that's idiotic sorry to say 8( Anyways I hope you (meaning the Developement team) look's at my post and reads and understand what I am getting at and hope as well that maybe you'll take into consideration of improving the jedi system and pvp system at publish 10 to how it really should be via as the movies. Thank you for all your time 8)

actually it doesnt matter what profession u are besides jedi....once u pull out that lightsaber those defenses dont count , you are a jedi . if they did work we wouldnt die so easily and get hit for 400 damage by a TKM or fencer. again once u pull out your saber you a jedi and a jedi only with your tree's that u picked.

This is just a comment about the jedi system. I believe when a jedi dies they should recieve the skill block removal after three deaths. I feel this system kept the jedi quiet for a bit lol. Also I really beleive the TEF should be placed on a Jedi that hits an PC or Factional NPC. This is the GCW people for the love of the force, lol. If a Jedi should attack a PC or factional NPC no matter what Imperials should have a TEf on them... Vaders orders should be to destroy all Jedi. this class is altra-super ubber and those that used the Geo cave and Endor spawns do not know the fear of the old TEF, permadeath system and have not earned the right to be knight compared to those old school jedi, though there are only a few left. This system will be seen as the ubber "TKM" i so fondly heard abotu when i started playing. This cheapens the game, the jedi should be penalized harshly and relentlessly. I am a jedi myself and comapred to friends of mine, my grind is sadly simple. Thoguh i don't have an exploit like the knights we see rooming chilastra these days, I still believe even without exploits it is to darn ez. So to restate what i said and so the angry jedi can respond quickly to this attempting to prove me wrong and ignornant and how hard FRS is to obtain and so on and so forth.

Points
Jedi should lose XP for deaths and after 2 or 3 lose a skill block at random.

If a jedi attack a PC or Factional NPC they should get an imperial TEF.

I have no problem with what you propose, as long as it applies to Jedi that have 245+ skill points invested in Jedi.

To bring this stuff back to newbie Jedi would be cruel and inhumane punishment.

ive seen you post this at least twice...

why is it cruel and inhumane to do this to the new padawans?

the old padawans had no skills, and had to deal with it...

these padawans can have full templates...

as for the losing a box after 2-3deaths...

so bascially your saying that jedi should lose boxes and have to regrind the xp they lost and the box they just lost...while walking around perma overt, and most taking part in the GCW, base defenses and take downs...

i personally dont care for the FRS, but to take away boxes (the only box you can take from me would be a 3.2mil box or a 1.6mil box) and force me to regrind it (ntm the -10mil xp im in the hole, as well as many other jedi who pvp)...your just making more people get forcerun to run from a battle and everyone who doesnt have FR will be the main ones regrinding...

jedi arent goddly creatures in pvp, a good melee stacker will kill a jedi 1v1, turrets also kill jedi on base raids/defenses...i personally dont want to be fighting one day grinding back the xp the next...

our healing is slow, with enough people on 1 jedi the jedi cant heal fast enough to keep up with the dmg, also posion/disease healing take us longer and doesnt work as good as a docs cures, i also cant heal my own wounds or my buddies, it takes 32skill points to get what a novice medic (15sps) can do, heal action/health wounds, heal buddies wounds, and heal my own dmg, but i still cant heal a friend's dmg, so if they get incapped near me they are screwed...our moves take force, we cant spam all day and night like anyone else with buffs, also takes most jedi about 15min to regen a whole force bar, 15min may not seem long but in fights those with no force will die first...our 4th gen sabers cost more than any other master weapon in game (4 premium crystals for 3-6mil a piece, you got a saber worth 12-24mil, and not even a guarantee good saber...we all know premiums can tune as bad as a poor), if anyone else spent 12-24mil on a weapon they would have an exceptional weapon or at least a weapon that is close to exceptional...

you now want to make me regrind boxes all the time, fine...make me a god in pvp, then ill take those penalties...until we are "gods" in pvp (which i dont want to be) what we lose in fights is more than what anyone else loses in fights...for a death i lose xp(only matters if you want me to regrind my boxes, but if i do have to regrind then it means a lot) and i lose FRS xp no matter who deathblows me...to take more away from us, and not give us anything is just hurting us...at least give us a chance in pvp then, because besides melee stackers you have people that drop 1k poisons on you, with that and someone hitting you, you stand there for a good 5-10seconds healing the poison and taking more dmg...

plus i dont care about the tef idea, since im always overt anyway, if you want to attack me just declare and im red, you only need 1 person in a group to declare to get all your buddies in on the jedi beatdown...

so if you want to take my skill boxes, you got to give us a chance either in pvp or to gain rank in the FRS.

mm... If you would give me 90% armor, hell yeah I'll take exp loses. Comparing Old Padawans to todays padawans is liek comparing apples to oranges.
