Civic Policy Level 1: Grant Zoning Rights (grants target player rights to place a commercial structure, such as a cantina, inside the city borders - lasts 24 hours)

Is this 24 hours to place or 24 hours in existence? What a pain in the ass to grant every 24 hours!

well, nothings been tested yet since it takes a while for a politician to get xp and at last check they didn't even have the trainers available on TC.

Best guess is they have to get it built in 24 hours... can't even fathom the idea they'd make them rebuild every 24 hours....

I agree with Ropock - makes no sense to allow them to build for 24 hours.

If the license is to build, and lasts 24 hours, then presumably the act of building has to be done within 24 hours. If it was a license to run, or own, and lasted 24 hours, then I'd worry.

License to build for the next 24 hours just means you have 24 hours to use your license to build, and build.

TC is very buggy atm, cant trade, cant use the baz or vendors right now. It all leads to ctd, heck even combining 2 stacks to one, crashes the client.

I will try to assemble a small Naboo house as soon as TC is back again, and will report back if they can finally be placed on Rori as well.

Wow, nice perks for mission payouts and cloning costs as well as experimentation and failure rates in the politician tree that affect the whole city.

Why are some people not liking the idea of cities on the advanced planets? Right now you can go there and it is desolate. It will serve to attract more people. But not just everyone. I don't see a mad rush for people to build there to begin with. It would be nice though, while running around Dathomir tostumble upon a small town. Right now there is just a lot of real estate that is not being utilized.

Old deeds i had, didnt show that kind of info (yet).I have no Info , what will happen if somebody is going to redeed an existing house.

Well it could be logical to think that the mayor can give for example a cantina owner the right to place their cantina for 24 hours and then the mayor gets a message 24 hours later something to the effect of..."24 Hours has expired on the Krusty Krab would you would you like to grant another 24 hours? Yes or No" Because we already know that hospitals and cantianas will be available to regualer players to place. These are going to be money pits.

I am thinking that I worded the 24 hour thing a little badly.

The Mayor gives a player permission to place his/her cantina for a 24 hour period.

The Mayor does not have to keep giving permission for the Cantina. The Cantina is now part of city.

The 24 hour period is only for the placement of the Cantina. It is not permission for the operation of said Cantina.

(kinda strange that Dant is listed on Naboo and Tat Houses)

i'll bet corellian will be on talus and dantooine as well.... looks like dantooine is going to turn into a hodgepodge of various architectural types....
