there would be no booting of the house for tefs... this is something that is not suppose to be happening now.. what is suppose to happen is to prevent u from entering a building if you have a tef and are in combat...

1) would you accept this form of being able to craft GCW items?
Yes
2) would you enjoy this level of risk of being involved with supplying your faction with Faction equipment ?
Yes
3) would you feel that you were being forced into PvP?
No
Essay to follow :-)
In fact, given that you have to be overt to place the structures, why not go the whole way and have to become overt to use the schematics ?
The TEF thing (once gaining a TEF does not boot you from a building) is too easy IMO, I would just go to the basement of my PA where there are a full set of crafting stations, and craft there, wait untill the TEF has gone and then leave. So - as only our guild are allowed in the building I am at absolutely zero risk (unless I forgot !! lol)
Whereas having to go overt means running the gauntlett from the recruiter to the PA Hall .....
My crafting character has no combat skills whatsoever ... so I would expect my guild to buff me, dress me in composite, loan me a weapon so I looked like a combat pro, (I would remove my title) and then as a group go overt and back to the PA Hall so I can craft. Then - when crafting is done. we're overt so can place the structures.
Finally run the gauntlett back to the recruiter to go covert .... then hide for an hour !!! lol
To me - that would really spice up the GCW for a pure crafter such as myself - if you are careful and plan things well, then you should be fairly safe

If you want to be a neutral architect, then be one. If you want to get the profit associated with the GCW then take a risk and join a side. Suppliers of weapons to eaither side should be vulnerable to attack as a way of disrupting the supply chain.

If we were allowed to craft faction Items.. but you would have to 1) Be alligned to that faction and 2) while crafting this particular item You would get a TEF... (thus attackable)
This would present a problem, as you would be booted from your house as soon as you made something.

A TEFis combat related. A better solution would be the creation of CF (crafting faction). You must declare yourself to one faction or another as a crafter, where you are given some level 1 faction schematics. As you create more faction items you get CF, you can then trade in that CF for higher Faction Crafter rank (similar to faction rank). The whole system would parallel the combat faction system but points are gained thru creating faction items as well as their use.

Glad to know that the TEF issue is on the list of things to fix.

1) Yes....however it would make more sense having it where we have to be overt, so 1) we don't deal with tef bug kicking us out of our homes and 2) wefall under the samelinesas buying faction equipmentfrom the recruiter.
2) Yes...but prefer having to be overt to make.
3) No
