I sell them for 60k on Eclipse and they sell well. As the person said I lable them BER10 Mineral or whatever harvesters and I sell out 20 or so every couple weeks. Considering the higher quality materials needed to make the higher end harvesters and my time and fails until I make a schematic that is the best 60k is resonable. We need to make money too. Not just sell everything at 3cpu and make small profits.

i sell medium minerals for rate4 18k and add 10k per rate add.

so a rate 10 goes in my shop for 78k and sell like hotcakes.

never get why many of the architects sell for like nothing

they are way worth it and the miners make alot more cash with them quick anyways if you didnt noticed.

I am on ahazi, I sell them for 37.5k. I keep 'em stocked, too, around 200 on my vendors right now. Why would I sell them for more money? At this price, I have a very nice profit margin and they are making me a rich man. On ahazi and need some medium harvs? 800 m south of coronet in the first row.

btw, i highly doubt you could buy me out, i can make hundreds in a day for as long as i need to.

I laugh at architects who give their stuff away, cuz u havent learned that the time you take to craft stuff on this game is worth something. I sell my MED minerals for 85k +tax(10%) =93k and med chems and flora for 150k+tax= 165k and i try like hell to keep my vendor stocked. We are using only the bet resources to make BER 10 and if some one wants to give my customer a nearly fre harvester, i congratulate them cuz I didnt have to spen my time making it. I have made 10 million in the past 2 weeks and I am finally enoying som **edit** profit like WS and AS make. I dont waste my time making larges anymore, no one wanted to pay more than the 150k they used topay for the old base 13's. Now that it takes good resources to even make those- screw it. They take too many resources and ive switched my whole 150 fleet of harvs to mediums from larges cuz of the cost savings.

***There is so much money in the game now dont get stuck in that mindset that prices have to stay the same cuz the economy has inflated - so do prices***

for the smaller less significant items i sell for 5 creds a unit, however when we go into harvs i start charging based on what an item can make for the owner so in short i sell a BER10 medium for 100k, BER12 heavies for 150k and BER13 heavies for 200k

i also get complaints so i just respond with the weaponsmith argument and leave it at that.

hope this helps

150 harvesters on just 69% should get you about 20M of resources in 2 weeks.

10M of profit from BER 10 mineral harvesters would only use about 500K of material. Are you doing some resource selling on the side then?

Oh, and you should all read this thread so you don't reinvent the wheel by debating pricing again for the 182nd time in this forum:

Yep, it's like Bloomingdale's and Walmart. Bloomingdale's get their clothes from the same sweatshops Walmart does but charges 10 times the price.

Bloomingdale's can NOT tell Walmart what price to charge and these people trying to tell everyone else what price to charge are just idiots and whinners because someone is selling lower than them and they think everyone should do it thier way.

There is one simple rule.

Charge what you think is fair to YOU and brings YOU a profit and if the other players think it's too high, they won't buy. If they think it is fair, they will. If noone is buying, you may have to adjust your prices.

Sell them for what they will sell at and you are happy with and the heck with everyone else. It's a free market where you are free to charge whatever you want to charge.

I have been selling medium minerals for 50k for a while now, I sell out quite fast, but that keeps me busy making new ones, 50k still gets me a nice profit to keep expanding. I usually manage to keep my vendor stocked but sometimes I sell out faster than expected. The only reasons I can think of for raising my prices in the near future would be if resource prices skyrocketed, or I wanted to hold stock for longer, for example to concentrate on other things.

I think all architects need to start setting a price point. If you sell a BEr 10 for only 35k. And you are happy with it. You are doing more dmg than anything else.

Damage? My customers disagree with you. Who is hurt by it? Fellow architects? They're my competition! I make a ton of money, I give a great service to my customers, and my business doesn't seem to be drying up. I'm not running a union, I'm running a business in a free market. You want to know whether it's the right price or not, see if you're making enough money to make it worth your effort. I sell them at 37.5k and I LIKE my price. It gives me great satisfaction to offer a great product at a price that is unaffordable to no one. Good luck selling them at 80k or 150k or whatever you're trying to charge. Considering all money comes from missions, I would have to say that one nice medium harvester isn't worth the time it takes to run 100 missions.

You want to disagree with me? Then come to Ahazi and try out the architect profession.

I am so on the wrong server. I'm on Chimaera and the ber10 mediums are selling for as low as 25k. As I worked my way up towards Master I was planning to charge 60 to 70k for a medium mineral harvester but just get laughed at when I quote these prices to people. These same people are willing to pay over 100k for a large house though that makes them no profit. Figure that one out.

I agree entirely with some of the earlier posts that highlight the value of the harvesters to the buyer. A ber10 can easily pay itself off in about 12 hours at 25k. Unfortunately many of the architects on my server don't seem to want to understand this. An elite crafter should have no real complaints about having to pay 60 or 70k for a good harvester - it's got to be better than paying 5 or 6 cpu for the materials from a resource supplier.

I sell for 30k.

That's nearly 9cpu for stuff I pay an average of under 2.5cpu for. It makes buyers happy and makes me tons of money. You can sell hundreds at that price on most servers. I'd estimate I've made 3-5m on these.
