we put 25 on a vendor for 80k just to see if they would sell, Ihave 10 left .. I about Died, I couldn't believe someone would pay that much for a BER 10
I just paid 100K each for some BER10 mediums. Here's how I can justify paying that -
A BER10 medium will pull in 6000 moreunits a day than a BER4 personal. This comes at an increased daily cost of around 1500 (power + maintenance + weekly redeed). Even if I simply sell the resources, I will get a minimum of 3cpu or 18,000 credits for those resources. That's an increase in profit of 16,500 credits daily. So the medium pays for itself in a week.
Of course, had another vendor had them for less, I would have willingly paid less.
I have heard of the crazy low 15k
and as high as 125k
the comfy medium is in the 50-75k range
I used to sell at 60k but couldnt keep em stocked. I like 75k wich is where I am now.
still sell like hot cakes, and the buyer can still pay for em in 3-4 days operation

Altho I sell large BER 13 for 135k and they are snapped up aswell.. 30 - 135 seems a large gap.. maybe I'll try a price raise and see how things go
40-43k, and still can't restock fast enough.
I'd suggest in this one instance you forget about the 'recipe' cost and consider the earning potential - on a good site 10BERs can bring in 10000 units a day. Sold at 3cr per, that's 30k a day - hence the machine is paid off in less than 36 hours. However, as mentioned above, server competition can be a factor.

Have been selling them for 80k sells goods as long as I title them BER10 Mineral Mining Installation
CRAzY .... for a MEDIUM mineral harvester, i would NEVER pay more than 15k
I think we should be pricing these much higher than 50K.... I am thinking around 100K foraBER10 Medium and 250K for a BER13 Heavy. Anyone that thinks differently just needs to adjust what they are basing their price on.
Most architects have fallen into the trap of basing their prices on what it costs them to make the item instead of the value that it adds to the customer buying it. Any resource vendor can make their money back even at my inflated prices in 1 WEEK! And once that first week is over then they are making pure profit FOREVER on the harvester you sold them (minus minimal Power and Maint).
So do yourselves a favor and bring your prices in line with what the player using it will get out of it. You can easily mine 100K of a resource in one spawn with a BER13 Heavy and that translates into 300K for the resource supplier. Subtract their 15K of Power and 20K of Maint and they still have paid off a 250K Harvester in one week. Think about it and we'll all be much happier. And if you find any undercutters than gladly buy up their stock and re-sell in my opinion.
You guys sell crazy low. I sell a lot at 100k for a ber 10 medium and 200k for a ber 13 heavy. I havn't had any complainst from my customers yet. I also sell large houses for 250k and mediums for 120k. Don't sell your self short.
I'm on tempest by the way.
I used to sell them for 35k at my shop near Coronet (shadowfire) but couldn't keep them in stock. So I started raising my prices. I'm at 50k now and still can't keep them. When a factory run of30 or so will not sell out quicker than 7 days I'll know when I found my price ![]()
