I wanted to ask how in the hell you pay 2.5 cpu for resources, thats cheaper (or as cheap as)grinding resources on chilastra. And in order to make BER10 harvesters, you have to have top-quality resources. But really, theres no point in arguing any of this, as long as the architect business is non-renewable, we will be a "broken" profession.

That could depend upon what you mean by 'pay'. I 'pay' less than that as long as I am pulling in the HQ resources frommy harvesters and only 'buying in' the grinding resource. What you 'pay' does not need to be a reflection merely of resource prices, but also includes the economics of running harvesters.

I don't know wht the others on my server are charging, and i didn't check the server names in this post.

But, I sell BER10 mediums for 70-80k and will continue to do so until they remain on my vendor for longer than 30 days. IF they reach 30 days, they get a 10% cost reduction.

I haven't had to relist anything on my architect vendors except for one item, several times....

Here's what I use for pricing:

Personal Harvesters: 1,000 cr per BER

Medium Harvesters: 5,0000 cr per BER

Heavy Harvesters: 10,000 cr per BER

I haven't done any factory harvester creation, all manual, so with experimentation and resource variationsmy BER's vary as well.. this was an easy way to figure a price.. if I get significant failures (and thus a very low BER), I may discount it steeply to (hopefully) unload it. (I just hit master and so don't need the xp anymore, so I may factory mine from now on to avoid this.. however, I haven't had too much problem moving even the low BER Mediums and Larges).

Dude, we cant tell you what price to sell at, but you are cheating yourself and everyone else out of money.

This isnt a real life economy... its a game. Let me say it again...

HARVESTERS PAY FOR THEMSELVES TWICE IN A WEEK

The REAL VALUE of a harvester is incredible. There are tons of people who make a living just listing resources on the bazaar. You can make over 100k a week running one BER 10 medium on a decent ore concentration. THATS FOR ONE HARVESTER.

If your selling them for 35k, your customers are cheating the hell out of you.

So yeah, sell them for 35k on ahazi. I just sold one yesterday, that was a BER 9, not even 10, for 50k and my customer was happy as **edit**.

In the end, you cheat yourself, you cheat us, your customers cheat you.

What's sad to me is that, at 30k or less for a medium harvester, you can literally save yourself money by buying harvesters from other people instead of making them yourself, because you can apply the resources you save to make much better items (or just sell them on the Bazaar like everyone else).

Can save myself a ton of resources that way.

I Sell my BER 10's at 55-65k, and i think i am under pricing them, but if i make them any higher i won't sell any. Mind you i have gone to other architects vendors and bought just about everything on it because they were selling everything at 2cpu, way easier than me making it.

I have however got in the habit of setting a price and not varying, ie "How much for a PA hall" I just reply 450k and when they say that is too much they know some guy who will sell it to them for 150k i always laugh and say go buy it from him then, that way i don't have to bother making it

Architect need to start figuring out what there products are worth, i charge a minimum 7cpu for furniture, master level things are all 5k each. I don't know if the problem is people don't know how to do math or they have no idea of what the market value of the things they are making are.

I have made 10 million in the past 2 weeks and I am finally enoying som **edit** profit like WS and AS make.

I think you should check with some WS and AS and actually find out how much money they make. A good WS or AS can pull in 10mill in a few days not two weeks. You have to think of it this way perhaps, you are a master level crafter pay yourself for the time it took to master the proffesion as well as the time it takes to make the things that you are crafting, WS and AS sure do. 180k for an average set of composite on my server and your selling medium harvesters at what? it's cheaper to buy a couple of harvesters as the price of a middle of the road set of composite.
