Read the stickys.... the stickys are your friends....
First Link in the First Sticky on the message board
However, to make it short, you make the module, use it as a component in the final droid, then it'll be available in the droids radial menu when called. You MUST use the module in the droids final construction. You cannot add ANY module to a droid once it's been built.

not sure how above helps him, but the module is same as others lv1-6 lv6 is 10 items which is most one droid can have no matter how many modules you have in it. two lv4 moduels = 1 lv6 item.
same as medical max you can have is a lv6 unit which is 110 medical, dont waste time putting 2 lv6 modules in a droid for example.

If this has been talked about I apoligize, But I am a WS and wonder how you all do it. I got 11 factories full, loot, resorces and3 houses with 2 crafting stations each, I have an uber house, where only the best goes in, and no one is allowed admin there. Decated one house to resource management. only to find I needed two, all my factories go 24/7 making gernades and I got 30 harvestors cranking all the time, I have 2 factories decated to loot only, and what this is leading up to is this, Why can't they up the storage? Make a crafting shop of some kind, give us a break, allow 1000 Items, so I can set up my vendors, and have everything close by and convient. Give the Architects a new item, give me a break!!! Just wanted to know if I was alone here......

Well...seeing as my double post is now gone...I will re-edit this post and put my original post back....sheesh...
As I said before, there will not be a fix for this in the foreseeable future, as there was never an intent for SWG to be a mass market wal-mart type economy. It was meant to be a cottage industry economy. Thus, the Devs probably aren't real sympathetic to our storage problems.

Know issue.
Will be fixed with the general crafting revamp in march 2017.
Now move along. Nothing to see here! :-/
Edit:
seriously, I m using my vendors for storage. Since they have limited the ammount of items one can put in there, they cant really blame us for using em for storage. I know vendors arent supposed to be used for storaging stuff since they cant track tiems if they vannish. *shrugs* They know about the storage issue and refuse to fix it. If I loose my stuff, I will just quit. *shrugs again*

Same as Joane, my shop/crafting center is nearly full. I keep 1 stack of <100k of each needed resource in a pack named Copper/Steel etc and use a vendor in the same room to hold stuff. First room has vendors for sale
I'll stop using a vendor for storage the day they give us some bigger limits.

Some here. I also use a 'vault' vendor. I storage all my factory run components and loot in there, plus all my 100k stacks of resources. It stands next to my crafting station and across from my 'in-use' resource packs on the wall.
Storage is a huge issue for me. I make a run of 1000 ABPHs, 1000 Scopes, 1000 ABRBs, 1000 ABPBs, etc, etc....it has to go somewhere.

Getting people to trade you lots for a monthy weapon supply is a good way to get the lots for more storage.

Right now, the only real logical way to manage tons of stuff is through a storage vendor. I think most of us do it, from what I've seen. There's no way to mass produce sub-components and keep them in houses manageably (sp?). Right now, I have thousands of subcomponents and hundreds of stacks of resources. There's no way my 4 houses and few factories can come close to holding all that. Bob, my"helper", stands next to my craftingstation, holding a lot of stuff for me.
He never complains, neither.
I should consider giving Bob a raise.

alternatively, you could get 'Bob' to meet my little helper 'Hunny-Bun' - it may be a match made in heaven. Might be a struggle for Bob to get her out of the room tho - she doesnt move much (and isnt much of a looker....lovely personality though)

The two main "Concepts" that have been proposed in 1 or more threads so far would fix probably 75% of all storage problems.
1,000,000 unit resource stack MAX
"Stackable" Loot - i.e. 7 Identical Yellow Cubes take up 1 inventory space. (a Factory crate of cubes would work _perfect_)
