But are the developers actually designing a solution? or are we still in the "Everyone start a thread about it" phase?

I wanna know, because my houses are getting rather packed

LOL, I've been considering just opening a resource vendor, sell it all ... oh wait, you wanted a solution.

Some here. I also use a 'vault' vendor. I storage all my factory run components and loot in there, plus all my 100k stacks of resources. It stands next to my crafting station and across from my 'in-use' resource packs on the wall.
Storage is a huge issue for me. I make a run of 1000 ABPHs, 1000 Scopes, 1000 ABRBs, 1000 ABPBs, etc, etc....it has to go somewhere.

Just a tip. Put down 10 factories. Set each factory for one or a few duties...

I have:

Melee Weapon Componets
Melee Weapon Final Assembly
Ranged Weapon Final Assembly
PowerHandlers
Scopes/Stocks
Barrles
Fed Mechs

Storage 1
Storage 2
Storage 3

Now what you do is store all of the resources for like powerhandlers in the imput hopper of your powerhandler factory. Walk over, Yank some out, make a scem and hit go.

For like the scopes and such walk over make a scem and set it to go.... but don't let it run 1k. Let it run like 300 and then pull it out. You can always put it in when you're running low to make some more but there is absloutly no need to sit on 1k scopes. Just make small portions. Remember 3 stacks of resources is much less space then 10,000 crates of componets.

Where does everyone store their resources?

With houses having such low capacity is there a better solution?

crafting stations with the extra bits (droid storage units MSS and control units in) Although I think this is an exploit but not sure, I mean it SAYS IN THE ITEM DESCRIPTION that you can do this, so I am not sure

hehe, storing in droids is not an exploite neither is storing stuff in your stock room on your vendor.. Just dont leave it too long or it poofs.

DONT STORE IN CRAFTING STATIONS ! !

there is a bug and people have lots tons and tons of stuff, this has come strait from the arcitect corrispondent, that got it strait from the devs.. DO NOT USE THEM....

sorry for the caps but i wanted to make sure you saw it : )

as for storage, storage houses are great and for a bit more money use hopper on factories, its 100 items per 1 lot and they can make things too !.. i use about 10 storage factories and 10 houses pluss my vendor.. But for small bussniess vendor, a house, and a couple factories witll work for a long time and still leave you 4 lots to mine with which is a lot for a small bussiness, well if your using heavies thats 400k+ a week

In addition to people losing the items out of the crafting station input hopper there's one other thing I'll mention about them: items that you store in your manufacturing station's input hopper count against your house's storage capacity. That is why I've never understood why people use the input hopper. The only thing it saves you isthe two seconds that it takes topick your resources upoff of the floor. In exchange for those two secondsyou risk losing everything that's stored in your input hopper. It just doesn't seem like a logical risk to me.

Side note: Every time there's a post where people talk about storing items in their input hoppers someone comes along, gets very indignant and says, "I've been playing since day one and I've always stored items in my hopper and I've never lost anything! Rant, rave, etc."

To those people I say the following: Good for you. Others haven't been so lucky. The fact of the matter is that other people have lost lots of items in their input hoppers and we're merely trying to give people fair warning that it can and does occur. If you've been lucky enough to not lose items, that's great! That doesn't change the fact that some people have had problems with it in the past.

Storage is a major issue with most players (especially those who don't have the luxury of having vendors) Here are a few suggestions that could be implimented for the good of ALL players.

1:Increase all max droid storageto 25 items

2: Add storage to all vehicles say 10 items(obviously if vehicle is disabled either destroy items that are stored or make it possible for them to be looted) Could be more fun huh?

3: Increase the amount of storage space for safety deposit boxes at the bankmaybe add an option where you could 'rent' extra space thus get charged directly from your bank account for say increments of 10 extra storage spaces.

4: Make wardrobes, cupboards, armoir, chest, cabinets use up 1 space in a structure even when they are full and give a player a limit of having upto 5 in any structure (which would give each player an extra 250 spaces when only using 5 in the structure)

I hope others can leave feedback about my ideas or suggest other ways in which storage can be increased.

1:Increase all max droid storageto 25 items Works for me!

2: Add storage to all vehicles say 10 items(obviously if vehicle is disabled either destroy items that are stored or make it possible for them to be looted) Could be more fun huh? - Don't think so. Too many things would get lost.

3: Increase the amount of storage space for safety deposit boxes at the bankmaybe add an option where you could 'rent' extra space thus get charged directly from your bank account for say increments of 10 extra storage spaces. - Definetly not a bad idea.

4: Make wardrobes, cupboards, armoir, chest, cabinets use up 1 space in a structure even when they are full and give a player a limit of having upto 5 in any structure (which would give each player an extra 250 spaces when only using 5 in the structure) - NO! Talk about making a house into a warehouse full of stuff that people probably would forget about, and never make it into use.

I agree with 10 items for vehicles and mounts but I cant agree with the others. I think it is just too much.

Ok, I've always been a perfectionist when it comes to the quality of the stuff I make, so I use the best steel, ore and iron in my harvs, so I can get a high Storage after making BER13 with only amazings. And today I made a batch ofBER13 Deep Crusts with 132614 Storage. But I want better. So, is it possible? I used 595 Mal Ore, and 395 mal iron. Dunno if it comes any higher than that.... Ay of you got higher than 132k?

Just curious
