You haven't gone very far, play whatever class you want and wait until the system changes. At least you're silent.

Hi there,

I'm a master creature handler that has just dropped all my marksman and rifling skills to take up close contact combat. So far I have just completed the 2 handed brawler tree, and last night reached novice swordsman. Had a play around with a power hammer. Excellent fun, far more enjoyable than letting my pets take all the stick, while I stood at a safe distance taking pops at the creatures.

I intend going for master swordsman, but points are going to be tight to accomplish this. I've read in other threads, that skills in other branches of the brawler tree are required, to make the best of swordsman, can you tell me what these are, what would you suggest.

I'm still trying to learn the finer points of what skills I have so far,and my HAM hasn't fully migrated yet, but thanks to my CH skills, lvling is a doddle. I just group with one my lvl 60 cats, let them start a fight, and I just join in, did about 250k xp on endor hunt last night.

fencer defence tree is good but ud be better off getting master pistoleer to be honest as pistols are not too bad with last ditch and some krayt pistols also you get good defence from pistoleer 0040 novice medic is essential will make you last soo much longer

Hi there. I am almost done with medic and will be beginning my first time as a CM. My question is about CM bio clothes and skill tapes/armor attachments. I was just trying to get a feel from the community about whether they are worth using or not. I will only be able to get CM 4404 so crafting help wont really be much help for me and thats the only CM skill tapes Ive seen talked about lately.Any feedback on this will be very helpful. Thanks.

Oddly enough, I'm not looking for advice in how to do the FS grind, or how to do any of the Aurillian Quests. They're easy enough to do without needing much of a guide. My question instead deals with exactly how to rekindle interest in the game? I finished my third full branch of FS boxes a couple weeks ago, and then took a few days off to get to tier 3 in pilot. Now I'm having trouble getting to the point where I actually want to log on and play anymore. It doesn't help at all that I am completely underwhelmed by the recent release of information regarding the new HAM system. So, my question is.. how do I go on? Is there a way to rekindle interest, or should I just go have a crack at EQ and maybe EQII?

Do some Night sister hunting & Krayt Dragon hunting, Play some JTL, Don't play SWG for 1 week, then watch your Fav star wars movie . . . then go running back to your Pc to continue the grind lol

The above is what i do to "Lessen" the boredom

I'm a little discouraged by JtL and the FS grind both right now. I'm at the point where I need to grind up to Tier 4 boxes in JtL, and the XP gain is extremely slow. I'm actually honestly thinking of dropping my grinding template and going to a Jedi hunting template, just because that's the one part of the game that never bored me.

As for hunting NS and Krayts, that gets pretty boring too. Not to mention I'd have to grind my way back up to Master Swords or Pikes just to get to where I'm accustomed to. Not that that takes more than a week anyways, but it's just more boredom. I may just take your advice and spend a bit of time away from SWG. May pick up some of the books and actually read some of the EU.. that always made me hyped to play.

How ironic would that be? Instead of grinding, hunt Jedi, turn in your XP, and become a Jedi by doing what you love, which is kill Jedi. I believe that's what the devs had in mind, or something like it, when they created this way. I would recommend doing exactly that!

you can A) take a break, then watch ur fav star wars movie

or B) [my personal method] play jedi academy, bask in the glory of a saber and then think that having that wonderful glow rod in swg is a major accomplishment / roleplay. o and make sure u listen to music while grinding...
