I've been tring to figure out what is the rate at which the harvesters consume power? I know that that it lists at (0:1), but what does that mean? Any help would be great.

Sounds like it would be easier if it just said something like 60 hours. But that would make more sense.

I recommend either the architect or the artisan boards....they will be able to give you more detailed info since they cover those more....

Everysmallharvester I've seen consumes 720 credits per day of operation, and 1500 units of power. The power can be obtained in several ways: it can be bought on the bazaar; it can be mined with a windmill; it can be mined with a solar plant; or can be mined as a chemical or nuclear fuel. Small windmills consume 1440 credits per day of operation, and deliver about 3000 - 5000 units of power. The harvester typically delivers about 1700 - 2200 units of product each day. I sell deeds in my shop for 1000 credits.

Check out www.swgcraft.com and go to the Harvester calc. This should help.

ok dumn question. I cant find any info anywhere on this and I've asked three people in the game and no one can help me. No guide, book or website explains this.

I bought a harvester and set it up, I try to get the thing running and it tells me I dont have any energy units available to start the harvester. I bought some type of energy in the bazaar and it made no difference, same prompt. I bought another type of energy, same thing....

Can someone tell me WHAT TYPE of energy I need to run a harvester so I dont have to drain my bank account looking for the correct matrial?!!

You can use wind, solar or radioactive. You can usually find wind on the bazzar. Resources-Energy (liquid). Petro fuel is not usable. Then "Deposit Energy" in to the harvestor.

You also need to understand how it's going to work. My harvester, for example, has a maintenance price of 15, which means 15 credits per half hour of operation. Why they didn't make it 30, for a full hour, is beyond me, especially when the power requirements (25.0) are measured in hours.

So 15 credits per half hour, and 25 units of energy for a full hour. You pay the maintenance, and deposit the energy, and you're set. Now you just need to select the item to be extracted, and turn on the harvester.

Here's a stupid question...

What happens when the money you've paid into the harvester runs out? Does the harvester just sit there idle or does it decay or do you lose it?

I just set one up tonight and have absolutely no idea at all.

if the maintenance runs out, the thing keeps running (given that it has enough power) until decay prevents it from doing so. what'll happen is when you return it won't be running and will have some percentage of damage on it that will take creds to repair. just make sure to always put in less power than maintenance (in terms of running time) and it should run out of power before it stops working due to lack of funds.

Thanks so much for the quick reply.

I think I'm going to be alright. I only had about ten units of energy in the harvester, but the maintenance was paid up for about 18.5 hours. So, I guess I'll be okay. :-)

Do they run off of the 30c per half hour like the wind generators do? .. anything else needed besided the fees and the power?
