Thread: an idea

I was thinking that it would be fun and cool if Tailors got a quest much like the R.I.S that armorsmiths get. A quest that they run where they are able to finish it and get the skills needed to make a few different Jedi robes. I think it would be nice if there was a bit more out there and it would be nice to see jedi dressed like jedi.

I was thinking the big one would be a Robe that gives some nice stats to jedi and can be linked to a quest that BE's can do to make tissues that are jedi specific. this will allow the jedi to customise their robe to their specific needs. Maybe the skill enhancements could even be rewards for jedi specific quests.

Just a random thought(s) that popped into my head.

any thoughts??

I like the idea of a tailor quest, I don't like the idea about the 'reward' being the ability to make jedi robes. To be prefectly honest I don't want to be a slave to jedi which is what will likely happen.

Yes. Quest = good, Jedi = bad.

I think that the idea of the quest is cool, I would really enjoy something like that, but my personal opinion is that the reward shouldNOThave anything to do with jedi. So many of the aspects of this game are revolving around jedi, this game is NOT just about jedi.

Agree that the quest might be nice (I enjoyed doing the Musician quest and getting a new song). But I strongly agree with the others that I wouldn't want the reward to be Jedi Robe schematics.

I think that with the influx of "nerf this" or "nerf that" that it would be prudent to do somthing about it.

This would be fairly easy to code:

Whenever someone tries to make a post with the word "nerf" in the subject, it will send a 50,000 Volt jolt of electricity into their computer and out through their mouse and keyboard, thereby rendering the would be poster dead.

The nerf this or nerf that post are getting old. please... make it stop.... MAKE IT STOP!

I agree, aquest would be great! As long as it doesn't involve too much in the way of killing stuff.

As for crafting Jedi robes, don't they already get their Jedi garb at some point in their Jedi training...uh...stuff? (You can see that I'm sooooo well versed in the ways of the Jedi ) And as a note to the OP, if we could craft Jedi clothes, then everybody would be running around dressed like a Jedi, not just the Jedi themselves. And I kind of get the feeling that that's not something the Jedi would want.

and with these droids, afk grinding in your house would reach an all time high.....

Sorry, i just see way too many downsides and not enough upsides to it. They need to reduce exp you get on Kash to nothing(to get rid of afk grinders there), then exp could stay exactly how it is and they wouldn't have to nerf it.

Of course all they think of is nerf. For example, the latest combat exp village nerf(combat exp transfer's in at 30:1 instead of 3:1) They did this because ppl were using nades to grind exp fast. All they had to do was make nades give heavy weapons exp, with teh 10% combat exp like every other weapon, and then it would have been balanced.... but oh well, can't give the dev's points for thinking this time hehe.

Ok, so I am sitting in Germany, its Sunday night, and nothing better to do...

So how realistic is it that a Jedi would sit around and watch another Jedi be taken by a BH? Not bloody likely I would think. However.

We do have far too many Jedi, which in turn drives up the BH population because you use our MBH alts to slap around other Jedi and this and that, so I was thinking about this.

Bring back the three strike your dead rule. You get smoked three times and you start overlike you just finished the village. Buuuuut make it so any Jedi can assist any other Jedi (same faction of course) with heals, buffs etc.

Also...once you unlock you can not have a BH on your account, sorry Verboten. I think this is fair because it forces more Jedi v Jedi combat and makes MBH a bit less seen. Allow MBH to have a maximum of three helpers, because Jedi would be the elite combatants they are supposed to be. A knight should be able to handle a single MBH out of hand, no sweat.

Bring back the FRS, but add a similar system to the BH field. Example, Boba was THE BH in the series. Well ok, so now your a MBH, you get to try Jedi marks...but you get smoked constantly. Well now you can compete (in some form I have not worked out the details) to advance in the BH guild. Where as the "leader" of the guild (highest ranked member) would be the Uber BH and would pose a problem for Knights and such (solo). And of course his minions would have skills that would allow them some form of advanced fighting styles. Ok the down side.

You lose to a Jedi, well you lose part of your standing with the guild. You lose your skills, and you have to fight to maintain your position with in the guild. Three losses and your back to square one, back to MBH.

Ok this is incomplete and a little random but discuss it will be fun

-While I disagree with everything you say, I will defend till death, your right to say it.

-I think, therefore we have nothing in common.
