Wow. I am SO glad I dropped my architect account last month.

I was one of the middle/bottom of the pricing structure on the 'Fin before giving up the ore (Mmmmm Sweeet Sweet ore....)

ore...must have ore... wait... where was I?

Um anyhow I was at 110K for a BER 13 heavy right after the JTL steel shortage... that was enough for me and I pulled the pin on Crafticus Architecture. Resources were so hard to find, and ridiculously priced.

Now along comes this bizarre (oops make that bazaar) patch that makes my old humongous stock levels pointless, giving all the business to the bottom feeders. Yipes. I really feel for you guys still in the business.

On the other hand, the Architect's Anonymous meetings are fun.

Ore... must have ore...

EEEK! Almost fell of the wagon there.

Smarticus - On the Fin for life... Cause I have 130M credits there even though I hate PVP

I too feel indifferent about this new "search" tool. On the one hand, I am glad the devs have paid some attention to thier non-combatants, though whether this system will ultimately benefit crafters or combatants is still undecided. I had to look for a few resource containers and was able to find EXACTLY what I needed and in the amounts I needed them. I did not pay less as the price of resources does not seem to be changing. Ironically, one of the vendor waypoints led me back to a shop I frequented before

On a negative note, I have not sold much since this system was implemented. I was told that my furniture is more expensive than it should be by a "customer" that was trying to be helpful. This is the first time this has EVER happend. I have a large inventory of furniture and lighting; my customers know that they were going to find exactly what they needed when they came to my shop. If they paid a little more, they walked away satisfied and I was compensated for my increased risk/overhead. Rather than moving 700k worth of stuff, I have sold exaclty 5400 creds worth. My houses are [roced about 500 creds above what seems to be the average price point and I have not sold a single one... still I am going to wait and see. Wearing my Master Archi tag has generated a few large custom orders and they will pay for my power and maintenance needs for about another week or two.

I cant make heads or tails of the sorting mechanism. When I sort by name, I expect an lpha sort, but I guess this is alpha*time remaining, resutling in a meaningless organization. My approach to purchasing has been to find the first item to come close to my needs/price point. After a few more days spent infront of a bazzar terminal, I think many will do the same and the price pressure will easea tad.

If all else fails, I will have enough heavies to drop archi and sell you guys resources lol!

Actually, I can't stand the combat. If this doesnt stablise in the next few weeks, Im gonna try single player games for a while

I think my furniture might be lower than is average for my server. Not too sure, going to need to check prices. All in all, I'll probably have to drop prices to compete with the harvesters and raise them with other things. I've been soliciting purchasers that I don't recognize to find out how theyfound my vendor. Most of the recent resource sales have been via the galaxy search. Harvesters and housing have been with repeat customers. Guess we'll be price warring soon.

Given your alleged production schedule, I am surprised you have time to NOT play the game.

Well obviously no one caught on to my hint that it's a game to be played, and that the personal calamity that certain OTHERS in this thread have completely initiated is below my intention to continue with. The fact remains I am still having fun playing the game, and quite frankly LMAO at some of the comments thus far in this thread.

I thought you were leaving? It's not nice to get everyone's hopes up like that.

You're a garden variety troll. And not a very good one at that.

And hey, where's thatbargain architectvendor of yours where you claimed to sell houses and harvestors at ridiculously low prices? Oh, I remember now! it doesn'texist! Hell you arn't even an architect from what I've heard. Now go crawl back under the rock youcame from before someoneremovesyour feeding tube.

I see that our troll is back. See previous thread.

I wonder if Kallaswi will be joining us too?

I'm sure they read every single one of your posts and dilligently jump into any arguments you might be in irregardless of what forum it is or what time of night. Most of my customers do that for me. Doesn't everyone?

And it only took 1-2 posts before he mentioned Sams Club. Nice twist there on the Walmart argument.

The insults are getting more refined this time to. Instead of leading by declaring that everyone elseis a child: "Appearantly the vast majority of SWG players are children, and have not had a chance to learn such." he instead just uses "unreasonable" and then get irritated when people get irritated. Subtle.

Last time it was "farce", "atrocities", "ripped off", "thieves", "over price", "wrong doing" and "conman". But of course we aren't done yet. He's probably got 3-4 more posts before he wanders off.

Hmm.. Looks like he's doubled his price since the last time though...

As an example of REALISTIC pricing here is a short pricing list of my most common wares;

Small Houses (all) - 5,000

Medium House (all) - 25,000

Large House (all) - 50,000

Personal Harvesters (BER4) - 2,000

Medium Harvester (BER10) - 10,000

Heavy Harvesters (BER13) - 25,000

...

Wonder why? WHy isn't he charging the 'realistic' price of 25k still? Why would someone double their prices??

I wonder if this time we'll get a WP for the shop? Wonder if the shop is still 4k out in the middle of nowhere amongst the krayt spawns out on Tatooine with a 'closed' sign and a 50k entrance fee?

But of course on the other hand it so easy to verify this time cause all we have to do is log into Corbantis and then browse the vendor search looking for 50k heavies made by Blackstarr. Oh, I forgot... they all sold out."I now have a completely empty stock of harvesters, large and medium houses, and city buildings." Darn that makes it hard to verify. How convenient.

lol sorry Pawlin I didn't even see your post before I posted that link myself. I saw Stowntroll's post andwrote the whole thread off as a product of his trolling.

Isn't it funny how he is back here a few months later with almost the same exact BS? I thought he would have moved onto the Weaponsmith forumtrying toconvince people he sells Legendary weapons for 10k or something.

Well it's not total BS, Hazelina. A contact on Naritus said prices for heavy harvesters dropped to 50k and that some architects have stopped building them.

Coming from this guy, it's total BS. This guy posted a few months ago that he was selling heavy harvestors for 25k. He said he played on corbantis and his vendor was on Tat. He wouldn't give anyone the waypoint to the vendor though, nobody on Corbantis had ever heard of the guy (except his second account he tried to pretend was his only customer). We did finally track his house down. It was in the middle of nowhere with a 50k entrance fee. When confronted with these facts he dissapeared from the thread - and from the boards altogether, and just recently popped up again in this thread. I guess he figured nobody would remember him. He was wrong. Read the thread Pawlin posted the link to for details.

Yeah I know Hazelina, I was the one that tracked that house down. But the 50k post was a quote I heard from a contact of mine on Naritus. I'm not claiming things are like that on any other server, I was wondering if you've noticed changes in sales due to the galaxy search. So far other than regulars, my sales have been primarily old resources.

My sales have actually increased. And I do peridocially check the vendor searches. I keep in line but occasionally somene has stuff lower than me by 25-50k. It doesn't worry me tho because the demand is great enought that when those are bought up people will then go to mine. No worries. And if I saw any heavies at 50k I would buy them myself. if anything, the search system will just equalize the prices more. People who have been selling their stuff too low will fnd their inventories bought up and resold. My friend made 10 million so far doing that with non-architect items.

He is an architect and he does have a vendor.

This time around we did get his vendor location:

Stownhart wrote:

Cosno went and checked it out. He's got some cheap buildings like 5k smalls and 50k larges. But his harvester stock is kinda low and the prices aren't what he's said. A couple dozen BER4's personals for 5k (20 cpu!?), ten or fifteen mediums including both BER9 and BER10 for 25k but the only heavies are a couple BER12 heavies for 50k. The deeds do have his name Blackstarr on them as the creater. His stuff is easy to spot in the vendor search since he starts the deed names with "Starr's ..."

Is that 10M they've made since they started playing? Or since vendor search was turned on?

I just tried something today to see if it will work. But normally I might advertise at Anchorhead and Mos Eisley Bazaar's to try to catch some sales. I havent gotten around to doin it yet on the bazaar, rather I decided I should put an ad up on my vendor. A small house listed as "IcepickIII Housing and Goods" listed for 500,000. I wrote a big long detail description, noting that the city I live in has a pretty good business district. Which has a wide range of stuff. Also the fact of that houses are a big investment and that I am the best place to get one. Rather then these places that sell half of market value who do not care that you are a customer. I usually get alot of business on the weekends, but this one was rather lacking.

I only sell houses as an Arch, so maybe that is why.

Also some other stuff, but the majority is houses, all kinds.
