First: Hat's off to our military folks deployed all over the world so we can play SWG in the comfort of our airports, hotels, work and schools without fear. Unless you're on office time then shame on you, that's what lunch breaks are for!

Second: I too travel a lot (AF keeps me busy), but have currently settled down in a little hospital in Maine. Yup, I'm a doc who brings my wife's laptop to work and plays when I'm covering overnight (civilian hospital/server)! I stay up, mind stays active, think about tough cases while tooling across the wide world of SWG! Many a PvE battle has helped me crack those tough cases where the info didn't add up for the patient! Thanks SWG, you're a life-saver! Of course, due to the recent HIPAA policies I can't tell you about any of them...

I log in using an EV-DO CDMA cellular connection on trips to and from Las Vegas. Nothing like playing SWG at 75MPH.

I have a verizon wireless cell phone modem - BroadbandAccess service. I have a booster antenna (http://www.booster-antenna.com) gives more more flexible like the bottom of the parking garage at SETAC (Seattle/Tacoma airport). I've also played SWG at a econolodge at sequim, at my dad's house in Payson (rural), in PHX (sky-harbor), LAX, LAS, and SETAC, Spokane, and numerous hotels and on some LA streets. I've also played SWG on the city bus and in reastraunts in Phoenix and LA and Spokane. I've played SWG in the Marriot hotel lobby for hours in the presence of numerous MLS soccer players (Steve Jolly, Ian Russel, Mark Chung, Dwayne DeRasario, others)

For goverments that don't like you bumbing on their netowork, you can take you own connection with you to work and they generally don't bother you even if you use P2P or play SWG

For things that the goverment don't like, go share some legal files on emule. You attract goverments from unwanted goverments such as Iran, Iraq, and cuba. I use standard blocklists which is very through in blocking ANY goverment and prominant corporation, plus MPAA/RIAA and their mediaSentry thugs. Civilians from the baddy countries are more than welcome. I have screenies of iraqies and cubans (iranians are too common to bother screengrabbing).

Here are some scary IP blocker hits. Some espionage wannabes, lawyers, cops, FBIs, and possibly goverment employees goofing off on USA goverment networks, using P2P.

All but two of these files are pretty much fully copyright legal (some have a lot of web-rips) and fully public (except for maybe the stealth bomber one which I got off of emule and may be a leak).

It depends entirely on the boat you go to. There is no internet access under the water, or really any communication of any kind, so submarinerswont be logging on. Surface ships, however, can have internet access, and several even have wireless networks. However, it's up to the policy on the ship as to whether personal computers can use that internet or if you have to use one of the computers provided, and these you usually aren't alowed to install anything on. In the case that personal computers are allowed, they are screened before being allowed on the ship to ensure they are safe and compatible. In my case, though, I bypassed all that using a cell phone plugged into my laptop, when we were allowed

If you are speaking of a US Navy ship then not true. You are not allowed in any circumstance to hook a personal computer up to the ships network. The ships policy can only say whether or not you are allowed to have a personal computer on board, but can not allow you to hook it to the shipboard lan. I myself have logged in from 9 different states in the US and almost every country in southeast asia.
